Does anybody have a deal for somewhere cold and unpleasant for Christmas? I want to treat the Mother in Law.

My second time week after next, fly to Antigua Tuesday then Dominica then Barbados a week Monday can't wait... 6 days
Love it ,
You don't need to be rich, especially if you go early to mid December or Jan, February. In comparison my workmate paid £450 return to Tenerife last summer, I paid £320 return St Lucia Barbados last year £420 Antigua Barbados this year

I loved Dominica, only went there on a cruise though

For me a day at the Boatyard in Bridgetown, with dinner at Lobsters Alive is perfect

I have the best deal, in fact it won't cost you anything. It's called "Outside" and you can get there through your front door.

Would love to do this in Easter. Can you advise how you booked these flights and where are you flying from?

Check your hotel prices before booking, Easter can be expensive , plug in a few search engines like kayak etc,
I'm flying Thomas cook from Manchester (Glasgow, Birmingham and Gatwick) also check virgin and Thomson
I noticed last year that a lot of the Thomas cook flights fly to a destination and then onto Barbados and back, so pretty much you can choose
Antigua, St Lucia or Tobago and then get a liat or Caribbean airlines flight onto Barbados (from 45 us$) to then have the Barbados Manchester flight home ( Thomson only have one direct flight to Barbados a week , the other days go via the destinations above)

The internal airlines are cheap and allow up to 20or22kg free, note schedules are different most days and planes make multi stop flights, hence cheaper flights may be direct or via a few landings and takeoffs..

We nearly booked to st Vincent and a sail down to the grenadines but the flights didn't work out for us, to allow days/time, the only flight which fit our date plans had to fly Antigua to St Lucia to Barbados and onto st Vincent.
Another excuse to go again, not that I need one
.
Instead we booked a flight to Dominica (no direct flights from USA or Europe) for 2 1/2 days and then onto Barbados , it was the same price for both flights as a flight to Barbados (approx $156) , although departure tax is $26-28 in Antigua and Dominica

Can totally recommend Levi Baron - Bumpping Tours (good vehicles and safe drivers) on Dominica, the roads are bad , but so much to see. in the mountains but also snorkelling on Champagne Reef, if there are no cruise ships in you get the island to yourself almost!
