Generally insurance companies rip you off any way and even when they give you a good deal they still make a profit! So don't be ashamed or embarrassed by asking for more.

I agree. I got £70 knocked off mine (Elephant.co.uk) when I phoned them about renewal cost and told them I was not happy.

Just re-newed my Home Insurance and Contents with Churchill and they are price matching my existing renewal quote and then beating it by £30. So i think i might be pushing it abit if i now ask for an extra £5 voucher as well :-)

Still waiting for mine. Strange thing is the Payment date has changed from April to May. I actually went with churchill on the strength of the cashback so I will not be happy if I don't get it.

My mate has been waiting 3 months for his , nothing received , just says tracked .

Churchill can't be found on Quidco anymore either !

BEWARE: Each condition is only covered for 12 months as stated in the policy document, alot of places cover for life not 12 months

Page 10 of PDF http://www.churchill.com/pdf/pet_policy.pdf

www.halifaxpetinsurance.co.uk is good and have lifetime cover.
I did phone them before signing up online and i have made sure that both the dogs are covered for ongoing problems even if i don't renew. :)

Thank you for pointing this out though as others make not think about checking.

Even with this i am still paying £7.00 less a month than i was with Pet Plan. :)
they do not do unlimited cover for vets fees petplan will, Spooka which cover have you got you may need to compare them
Thank you for this deal. :)

I have been looking for cheaper pet insurance since i got my two petplan renewals last week.

This is an excellent deal and will be even better if i get QUIDCO cashback for both plans.

Thanks Saintscouple :) Voted HOT !!!!!

Would appreciate the heads up on wether they are paying up or not, ta! :)

Less exploitable now but 20% is better for most annual policies, and most US trips so may be handy still.

Can't confirm, but it has definately changed on the quidco page for churchill from £18 to 20%,so i would say it needs to be expired, unless anybody is still getting £18 when they buy.:-(
My guess is that they were inundated with low cost, short term insurance and they pulled the plug, quick sharp.:whistling:
Looks like you missed the boat iconcreative.

I took out insurance in my mum's name, paid with her card and received quidco money in my account.
Will there be any quidco cashback problems for my account if I buy insurance in my fathers name but pay for it myself Thanks
cadmus

Why would that matter?

afaiks you just need to delete cookies right away and you are good to go.

If anyone knows otherwise please post.

Was with LV for 6+ years. This years renewal came through at £250+.

Got a quote from the Halifax and they want <£140 all in! That's contents AND buildings cover!

Admittedly, I have left a few 'features' off that we didn't actually need but it goes to show that you should shop around for other quotes at renewal time.

Edit: Halifax will fix your insurance price for three years, subject to not making any claims!

Not competitive with car insurance though. But asking a lot:-son 17, just passed driving test. To go on our insurance - 2 middle aged adults (perfect drivers), nothing less than £1,000 :w00t: :-(
