Needed a new lappy, and I'm a china phone fan, so wondered what their laptops were like. OK, so it's not got a 4K screen or 16GB RAM etc, but for surfing and YouTube and all that fun stuff, it's more than capable. Mine was delivered last week and I'm really impressed. But what intrigued me most was the M.2 SATA3 slot inside for a really easy upgrade. YouTube reviews say only let down is the track pad, but mine seems fine. So, either they are picky or I'm easily pleased. Mine was delivered in 13 days with no taxes. This is a flash sale and there are 80 left at the time of posting.

EU plug version is more money, for some reason.

This looks a good deal. Make sure delivery is the cheapest (or free), and don't go for the courier delivery otherwise you will get hit for Vat and duty. I have used Gearbest quite a bit, and they are reliable though sometimes slow for pre-orders.
Customer services is non-existent, so if you get a faulty item - tough luck.

Yeah I mean I'm looking for a Ferrari and settle for a Ford Focus - why not.

Heh, Half the processing power, half the ram, half the storage and half the screen resolution.

Why dont you just use teletext?

Looks a nice device! Guess the only annoyance will be the US keyboard layout, albeit you can get stickers to cover the keys.

I guess we'll see these CPUs in Chromebooks as well soon (particularly the faster Pentium n4200). Hopefully in a replacement for the FHD Toshiba Chromebook 2...The n2840 is starting to show its age.
