MOVIES FOR JUNIORS
Children and adults pay just £1 each on Saturday mornings at participating cinemas. Films start at 10am - 10.20am.

Booster seats run out quickly, so take the one from your car in with you and get there early to see the film of your choice.

You forgot to mention that it is only for some films not the latest releases, usually kids films only......

The link says what films are showing and they are only a few months old, so you should find something that the kids havn't seen.
#3
this is extremely old

Empire do the same - they run films for £1 on both Saturday and Sunday mornings................Empire Juniors

This is pretty old news, but worth a reminder now and again I guess..........

Old - true. but for those who might not know about it hot.

Certainly a lot cheaper than the 36 notes it cost me just to get in the cinema with my family last week (that was without as much as a solitary popcorn)!

£36 what a disgrace. Word of warning, if you go to a Cineworld make sure you sneak your sweets in. A friend of mine had his in a Tesco bag and they searched it and took the sweets off of him.

this deal has been going ever since cineworld started

I checked back nearly a year and it hadn't been posted, so if it is useful to anybody, I think it was worth posting.

Always take my sweets in - never had a problem. Usually go to the Kids club if I do go to the cinema. Mostly I/the family watch/es DVDs on my projector at home.

To be honest I don't mind paying the occaisonal exhorbitant ticket price or late returns fine on a DVD as the moral part of me is pacified when I get the movies off usenet (infrequently tbh).

They rip us off; we ;-)

And we muddle along quite happily, knock-off-Nigels and price fixing robbing corporations

Good price to get rid of your kids for a couple of hours. My idea of hell though, not much point going to the cinema if it's full of noisy kids.

I can't work out how to see what the films are - can anyone help and tell me how to do this? Thank you.

No worse than the older "kids" chewing each other's faces off. :w00t:

I can't get to access weekend films either??11:?

Go to the cineworld website select your own local cinema select day, i.e. Saturday. Then check out all the films starting at 10am, they will be the older (6 months - 12months) family films.

You can book on line IIRC but you will end up paying a booking fee, making it nowhere near as economical. Best to turn up on the day 20 minutes early, buy tickets then go over the road to a supermarket or somewhere else with cheap sweeties and then back to cinema. However, usually you won't have much problem in getting a seat, even if you are late.

Further ideas for discount cinema tickets

- Go before 6pm film start ..ususally cheaper ticket cost.

- Use student card if you have one for discount.

- As said sneak you own snacks in

- Use Orange wednesdays BOGOF if you are on orange network.. This is great as you can also get BOGOF pizze from pizza express for a complete discounted night out.

Seriously?

They've never done this at my local Cineworld. I go in with my rucksack and have never been confronted once and sometimes it's full of food.

2 of the 3 films shown at my local branch on Saturday morning were 2009 films and the other was released December 2008

Not everyone has been on the site for years...and searching cineworld doesn't bring previous mentions of this deal up.

cinemas can only take open food off you, pizzas and hot dogs from elsewhere. They can't take unopened items off you unless they can prove you're going to eat them (which lets face it, unless they follow you in and watch you for 90 minutes is pretty hard)
#25
hardly new -- I've been taking my youngster to see these for at least 6 months!
#26
normally when my partner and i go to cineworld we buy one film and get one free lol just watch a film and stay in to see another.

Sorry Slamdunkin' but this does not constitute a Hot Deal.

A Hot Deal is something that has been mispriced, or is on special offer, a start up offer or sale. If, as in this case, its simply there and has been forever, where's the deal? It would need to have been more expensive in the past to be a Deal now, was it ever?

I am sorry, but posting this type of drivel will only reduce this excellent websites postings.

I know you won't agree - and no doubt we will get into a slanging match, but this is not my intention, merely posting my 2p's worth.

No it won't....it's a good deal for parents of kids who didn't know about it.

PS....it's not compulsory for you to get into a slanging match with posters, find some self control, you have had your say now.

Thanks, I'd never heard about this before.

im sure the wolverhampton one has been doing this for years, i remember them advertising it about 10 years ago lol

good buy though if youve got kids
