Cineworld Unlimited Card £11.99 per month

Right, I know this has been posted before (although I think it was over a year ago), but it's still a damn good deal (imho). So this post is really for people who either didn't see the last post or are new to HUKD and aren't aware the deal exists.

Anyway, the deal is you pay £11.99 per month, for which Cineworld give you a card which allows unlimited access to the cinema. Given that an adult cinema ticket costs over £6 these days, if you go to the pictures twice in a month you've made your money back.

Only downside is that you're tied into an inital 12 month contract.

Also, they charge £2 extra for 3D films, and that's included in the unlimited cost :)
the only thing it doesn't cover is special events like operas.

If you have orange, then the unlimited card counts as 1 payment, so orange wednesday can get two of you in with this card and a text.

Cold as this is the price it has always been so though it is a good offer it isn't a "deal" as there is no special offer on the pricing.
#3
Thats been going for years COLD
#4
Hot - doesnt matter that the price has always been the same - it saves you loads of money if you go once per week - this has got to be hot.
#5
yes still a brilliant offer as i go at least once a week must say though their food prices are really expensive a bottle 500ml water is something like £2
#6
To be fair and exact, it hasn't always been this price. It was £10.99 a year ago. They raised it by a quid.

Still a bargain and I have one myself, but since this is an ongoing promotion and not exactly 'grab it while you can', not voting either way.

Eat and drink before or after you go or smuggle your own in.

I'm platinum level with pru health. I get the annual pass for £25 excluding central London or £45 all in. Much better value!

Ive done that a few times although it dont help when you dont put things properly in your pocket as i found out once when a packet of starmix fell out right in front of the person who cuts the tickets
#10
They can't stop you taking food or drink in as long as it's not hot (so as not to smell the place out) - told this by a Cineworld employee in Northampton. Starmix is fine; don't they sell that?
#11
This is correct, you are not allowed to eat rood not purchased on the premesis but they can't stop you taking it in.
Lets face it most of the staff there couldnt care less anyway, they are all wanting to get to the job centre and find a job that pays real money.
On the other side it is a pretty good deal if you go a lot and live close.
#12
If you use a cinema exhibitors association card (carers free) you can get the unlimited and still get your carer in free each time
banned#13
why is this a deal, this has been around forever and its always in your face when you go to cineworld...
banned#14
I'd rather wait 6 months or however long until the films are released on blu-ray and then watch them in the comfort of my own home care of free 3 month love film trials.
#15
I just go to day-time showings personally and try to avoid opening days or evenings.
#16
I really wish the Odeon did a deal like this, the closest Cineworld is about 25 miles away!
#17
Brilliant deal!

It's a deal beacuse it's much cheaper using this card to go to the cinema as often as you want, rather than having to pay each and every time. Whether it's a hot deal or not is for others to decide.

And if it's "always in your face" does that make it less of a deal???:whistling:

A pretty sad way of looking at it really.

Some people actually like going to the cinema, have friends, wives, girlfriends etc who also like the cinema.

Try getting out once in a while.
#20
I do this, I think it's a great deal. If you go to the cinema twice a month you are already in profit.

Get ur annual cineworld pass for £100 ish from ebay to njoy further discounts!!

I do get out and I find that socialising is much better if you dont do it sat in silence in the dark, but then maybe i'm a bit quirky.

P.S. Sorry for having an opinion that differs to yours.

I was told that my unlimited card didnt cover 3D films and I would have to pay full price. :(
But apart from that it is well worth the money, go at least twice a week!

Actually, it does.

If the deal is "always in your face" then by definition you will not need a site such as HotUKDeals to inform you that it is a good deal, buying a £6 ticket more than once a month should be enough to prompt you...

And since in general, the people most likely to take up this deal will be those who have a cineworld in close proximity, they will likely already know about the offer. Those who do not have one close to them will have less incentive to take it up.

Useful for reminding people I guess, but not a 'deal' in the traditional sense.

I'd assumed that was the case, although to be hinest I wasn't that bothered as I've seen so many films using the card recently. Was pleasantly surprised when I went to watch a 3-D movie the other nite (My bloody valentine - terrible film but worth it to see all the gory bits in 3-D) and the cashier handed over the 3-D glasses and didn't charge any extra. Had to go get some popcorn after that!!!

Sorry, you mis-understood, I meant less of a deal in general terms, not less of a deal in terms of this site.

COLD, because it's Tuesday.

This place is going downhill.

Thanks to the OP for letting those of us who don't hang outside a Cineworld all the time that a deal like this exists. Even if it has for a while.

Nice tip!! I didn`t know that! Heat to the deal and rep to you for sharing that little nugget!

Me and the Mrs subscribed to this last year when it was £10.99. Its a good deal as long as you go atleast twice a month, every month as its £6.50 now days to see a film in the evening or weekends (unless its Tuesday). It wasnt very clear when we signed up its a 12 month contract - not sure if its clearer now - but please be aware of this! When petrol prices went stupid for a few months we probably went 2-3 times over a 4 month period as its a 40 mile round trip, so didnt really work out for us, cancelled it 2 weeks ago.

I agree with one of the previous posts, its a shame not all cinemas do this offer - might bring the price down then ;)

Jobs that pay real money don't get listed at the job centre. Thats where you go if you want to employ a foreigner or a Chav. So think Burger King, Mc Donalds, KFC, digging holes, packing meat, etc.
