Regardless of the mouse/KB/speakers, is this case any good for the price or is it a cheap and nasty one?

At that price you can't expect it to be great quality. If thats what your after, get a Antec, but it will be a lot more expensive.

it looks ok i would not be too concerned about the case itself but i would worry about the PSU especially if you bought it expecting it to deliver 450w which its unlikely to do.

however unless you are putting in an expensive graphics card etc then it should be fine for most people.

cheapo case but the psu really is a let down nowadays u want about 600-750w to power a descent machine with a good graphics card...

I'm assuming that all PC PSU wattages are measured as peaks. 750W is the same amount of power as a big hammer drill!

My Dell i7 with a 4850 came supplied with a 360w PSU, no problems at all.

Agreed, I have a 8800GS running fine with a 400W sigmatech PSU, works fine. It is partly down to the amps and not having too many meaningless devices.
