At www.scan.co.uk only £32.14 (plus potentially P&P if you aren't eligible for free delivery) - code LN29119 and occasionally scan put CiT cases in their daily/weekend specials at bit cheaper.

I brought a cit keyboard from play last week.its extremely cheap and wobbles quite a lot and some of the keys require a harder keypress than others, looks the same as the one in the pic.

I am looking to either build a pc or buy one, but only the unit, as I already have a monitor. keyboard and mouse. I use it for photoshop etc. What should I look at getting as in the a good price and decent components.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

For Photoshop, Quad core and lots of memory.
Budget machine would be AMD Athlon II X4.
Higher-end would be Core i5 750.
Top-end would be Core i7.

blimey ..bit different to Adobe recommendations for CS4

1.8GHz or faster processor
512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
1GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on flash-based storage devices)
1,024x768 display (1,280x800 recommended) with 16-bit video card

CS2 runs fine on my XP, P4 2.4 , 2gig mem

Thanks guys,

Any links to good deals for units?

Thanks

My experience is that these cheapo no-name PSUs are a load of trouble. A decent PSU will also last longer, be more efficient and save your electicity bill a bit. If you throw out the PSU from this package, it's not particularly cheap at all.

"Requirements", not recommendations, there's often a huge difference.

http://www.layersmagazine.com/your-system-specs-for-a-cs4-upgrade.html

I found plenty of results through googling "cs4 recommended specs"

Must be psychic...
Scan have TODAY as a Today Only offer (ie until about midday Tue 17th) this set for £27.03 (plus P&P if you don't quality for free).

You have to get there via the link on the Today Only page...
