This is basically a set it and forget it watch. Once set the time and date will always be correct.

I assume the world chronograph part means it works in all time zones?

If you register the watch with Citizen you get an extra year warranty. I did this with my wife's Eco watch in April.

It's just a fancy word for a stopwatch function.

You will have to set it to one of the 26 countries, and then the timekeeping will alter, you do not have to disturb the timekeeping itself.

Never mind the cheap pot shot at JC the question should be are they a better alternative as clearly the so called modern and forward looking policies of the current dispensation ain't working requiring constant U-turns. By the way when a centre right think tank backs your policy http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-right-to-buy-plan-backed-by-centre-right-think-tank-civitas-a7077971.html# suddenly a Citizen watch may not be the hottest deal

As opposed to the medieval neo-feudalism of the conservative party?

I don't support any of them.

Yes very nice indeed. I actually posted this watch 2 months ago for £235 @ Goldsmiths, it sold out quick. The link below shows the deal, and though the image has gone the watch can be seen in the video in post 2.

Both beautiful watches, though I think I'd need to start weight lifting to for the watches to look in proportion on my wrist.

Though if I do start some light training I could buy these watches as a reward :)

No.

Here is the manual.

By the way, I notice that only the hands have luminous tips, i.e. no lume markings on the face.

Can't imagine what they we're smoking when they thought up that. Extensive building is what is required and reductions on immigration.

Who pays for the discount that presumably a right to buy would need to offer on the market price? If you price out amateur landlords then you're be left just dealing with big corporations...

I think there are lume dots, just out from the markers themselves, immediately below the cities on the dial in line with the second indicators.

I have owned this for about 3 years (got it on Amazon) and it's my everyday watch.

Glass still unmarked even though it's had a few knocks and occasional drop. Bracelet has a few scratches and might need a polish.

Never missed a beat and always accurate - always in sync with railway departure boards to the second.

Only the hour and minute hands are luminous and not very much at that - a very thin luminous strip in the middle of each hand. Harder still to read in the dark as the rest of the screen is pitch black.

Used it on many travels and it does not auto adjust when in another time zone - tried in USA, Thailand and France Went through the rather complicated manual but gave up after many attempts to get feature to work - that might just be me showing how thick I am though:D.

Got it's flaws but I like it.

Yeah ignore me - tygar2 confirms they're not above and I can see that on closer inspection. I thought it was similar to my own Ec-drive.

You don't need to join a gym to build your wrists up. My right wrist is a lot bigger than my left.;)

Unless you move to another time zone, like certain parts of Spain where the UK signal that does the timing checks will still be king.

Yes because a Fitbit has all the cache of a fine timepiece. Its probably why all the most successful businessman aspire to own one...or not.

Er, that would be all the older unsuccessful businessmen, because the successful ones don't aspire to anything they already own it. So less than 50% of the entire unsuccessful businessperson population, incidentally

Your trying to be cute after making a stupid sweeping statement.

At last estimate Traditional watches still outsell smart watches by 150 : 1. Sure smart watches are getting better all the time but the watch is about as far from dead as its possible to be (1.2billion units sold annually!)

Perhaps you can pass that tatty plastic fad on your wrist onto your grandkids. Oh that's right, it wont last more than a year or two....

Good watches, much like books will always have a place in this world even if their function has been superseded.

You mean vs the Amazon/H Samual one? The latter has an alarm and indicator to show which countries signal it is receiving.
