Not a misprice, has been around this price with various vendors for a while now.
This is not a skyhawk although it looks a little like one, its not a bad watch at not a bad price but warm only for me.

Correct...it's a Navihawk as stated in the OP. I searched online and couldn't find this for anywhere near this price. Can you point me to one of these various vendors as it's unusual fo Argos to be so near the bleeding edge on price?

Is £10 more at above link but was more widely available last time i looked at these.

There are a several model's with the Blue Angel's graphics, I would be very interested to know the actual citizen model number of this one as it has no eco-drive, no saphire glass, no perpetual calander unlike some of the other models. If you have actually bought this could you please post the Citizen model details here?

PS: Personally I would rather go for this for a few £ more:

http://stores.channeladvisor.com/speedwatchesuk/Items/jr3080-51l?&caSKU=jr3080-51l&caTitle=JR3080%2051L%20Citizen%20Eco-Drive%20Blue%20Angels%20Chrono%20Watches

Although I am constantly tempted to get an Atomic Skyhawk shipped over from the states for around £180 to £200, only thing that stops me is the thought of customs sticking it to me on arrival.

rrp = rec retail price or rec rip price for some!

The model number on the handbook is JN0*** Caliber No. C300. As far as I can tell this is the JN0004-51E variant.

The Eco-Drive model from Speedwatches looks a good deal but beware. They are shipped from Singapore so total price after customs will be well above £149 and warranty claims may be problematic. The LikeU one seems to be the same model but is £20 dearer before postage.

The Argos one still seems to be the best deal.

As for RRP, I thought it stood for Really Rich Persons price:thumbsup:

I don't think it will be an JN0004-51E, these tend to be none Blue Angels / navihawk marked watches "just marked world time" but they do get advertised as navihawk promasters. Movement is probably the same though.

Strange that neither argos nor the paperwork list the actual model number, does the paperwork say where it was made?

Edit: link to example added.
Doesn't like the ebay link, remove spaces to get it working

Hmm... Posts with url's pointing to that famous auction sight seem to disappear. Must be against the rules.

Anyway I found one on Fleabay. The correct model number is JN0040-58L. It was a shop return and went for £143 including postage. A pity that buyer didn't know about the Argos deal.

Pricing these seems to be a bit of a minefield. So many models that look alike and such a variety of prices.

Since the original Skyhawk became a best seller, they have used it's looks and in some cases it's movement in at least 20 different watches. I really want the titanium skyhawk atomic but it sells for between £300 and £400 in the shops here and can't bring myself to spend that on a citizen watch.

There are fleabay delears who seem to offer it for £200 and you can get them imported for around that too but, there are also sites offering fake skyhawks in bulk so I am a little concerned about ordering from a unknown or none UK dealer.

Bottom line I suppose is, you got the looks and most of the functionality for not a lot of bucks.
