Seems a good price for an Eco-Drive that looks nice IMHO and appears to be plenty of stock. I checked a few locations around the country for reserve/C&C and showing in stock.

This not a chronograph - the dials are for the date, day and 24hr indication.

Can the cold voters give a reason why, please? I can't find a cheaper men's Eco-Drive, myself (that I like and from a retailer I trust - well almost!).

Good watch for the money so voted Hot. However why put " Although not a chronograph" in the title. A watch does not need to be a chronograph to be a good watch, and the the statement comes across as negative.

I meant it because looking quickly the dials may look like a chronograph - edited description, thanks.

Good watch. Quality Japanese movement, great strap, sapphire glass, water proof, stainless steel, 5 year guarantee, classy looks. Cant knock it at that price. Shame argos dont know much about the item (water resistant to 100m? really? resistance is when its ok to walk in the rain, water proof is when its ok to submerge into water) and their description does not say much about what is inside the watch.

On the subject of chronographs - desirable feature, but one that rarely is used by anyone. Seems like everyone wants a pilots watch with all the dials, and bits and bobs, but most have no use for all the features, and dont know what all the chronographs, chronometers, tachymeters and chronomumbojumbo really do.

Seems like the deal is expired though, back to £99.99

Didn't know this was still live tbh, until the app altered me to your comment. I don't think Argos are wrong with the description. Watches commonly use the term 'water resistant' as most cannot ever guarantee it so better than starting 'proof' - G-Shocks also say water resist 20bar (looking at mine now) and my old Pulsar says 'WR 100m' on it, where WR = water resistant, I assume. Both have never shown any sign of ingress with swimming, surfing etc. Only specialist divers watches,I suspect, would claim to be water proof.
