better to have waited until confirmed titanium before posting

looks a bit overly cluttered :(

Does anyone remember when watches only had 2 hands (a second hand was a luxury) and the numbers 1 - 12 (or I - XII) around the dial? Ah, simpler days.

ordered, i have another GPS citizen - Citizen Satellite Wave-Air. Love these watches. PS the 5% discount works as well from HUKD

Both watches are Super Titanium, this ones is ion plated black - its the more expensive version.

Chance of import fees even though this company choose to declare item as less than true value (potential issue if item goes missing)?

Wow, the profit margins on this must be massive. Guessing cost to manufacture can not be more than £20-£50?

I get why people would spend good money on a watch (something classic, keepsake etc), this just seems OTT, you could get a decent watch with better features for a lot less.

Oh well, if you enjoy it, go for it.

Watches tend to have very high margins in general, i'm sure this is no exception. However there is a lot of technology built into this one so i'm not sure you could find a similar spec for less as there are not many manufacturers other than Seiko and Citizen that make this type of watch. Have you actually looked at a review or the specs? I do like classic watches as well, rolex, breitling, omega etc but i have a few of these now and they are exceptionally well made and very high quality. You can put this in a drawer in total darkness for 5 years and if it was fully charged it will come back to life and set itself the the exact current date and time automatically within a few seconds. The GPS time mode will switch the watch to whatever timezone you travel too within a few seconds. I accept you could simply do this by hand but the watch can do it automatically and it maintains two separate times what again is good for travel. As you say however each to their own.
