Civilization 5 GOTY edition (Steam) £5.75 @ Gamefly
With all the Gamefly deals flying about, not sure why this hasn't been posted!
Civ 5 GOTY edition, redeems on steam and includes $40 of DLC. Seems a pretty good deal to me, especially as the standard version is £4.99.

Yes it is mac compatible.
Awesome thanks!!!! :p :p
Do you have to install the client?
There's no point buying the individual packs, but equally I refuse to pay for the main game again.
MBeeching: every Steam sale they slash the price of the 'old' DLC (not the Gods and Kings expansion). I have GOTY edition but there are 1/2 DLC packs not
included and I got one for 25p in the sale. Hang on for the next Steam sale

I can't see the Mac version on the site. The sale is only for the Windoze version. No Mac games listed. Steam are selling for £20. How do you get see the OSX version at the discounted price?

In the Steam catalogue listing for Civ 5 GOTY (which is what will be activated by this code) it shows as Windows and Mac compatible.

Where is this code?
This is a straight buy-through from the website to Steam for the Windows version.
Very confused.
Not paying any money to the site for the Windows version when all my computers are OSX or Linux.

It's really not that complicated. I bought this game from gamefly in the past. Here's how it works:
1. You purchase the game through the gamefly website
2. In your gamefly account purchase history, there will be a code listed below the Civ 5 title (much like the code you would see on the manual of a boxed, retail pc game)
3. Copy this code and go to the steam client
4. Under 'games' select 'redeem product on steam' (or words to that effect)
5. After you complete the process, steam will now host that game for you and it will become active/downloadable, much as if you had bought it through steam itself
6. Since the only Civ 5 GOTY product listed on steam is both windows AND Mac compatible, your game will be just that.
See this page and notice the little apple next to the name!

I'm sorry but that makes no sense!
