Naysayers will say it was overpriced but for me any Civ game on the phone is joy

Showing as £6.17 for me. Reviews not particularly favourable. Went for xcom instead - thanks!

Agreed that it does look a bit like Civ Lite, but worth a shot. Between the two Def xcom for me as I have plowed hours into Enemy Unknown. Price now tweaked thanks.

Played for an hour. Great production values with decent ui, Civ Rev is always a stripped version of the desktop games, but as a quick Civ fix it's good.
Get both games would be my rec as 2k don't discount often and 50% is often their best.
It's about a 500 meg hit so compared to the 3.5 gig of xcom it's a breeze!

One of the reviewers says:

Farmville knock off This is nothing like civilization for PC. You have to run the town like farmville and pick up coins and food like farmville. Wtf

Is this true? Doesn't sound like the first Civilization Revolution I know from the Nintendo DS, which was quite good.

Not played the Ds version but it's standard Civ rev. The ui is very bold and cartoony so I can see where the farmville comment came from, but for me it's Civ mechanics albeit the watered down revolution type.
Pretty impressed, plays quick and fluid.

Thanks for your answer. I'm still deliberating on buying it. There are a lot of other good deals on Google Play as you know :)
