The health benefits of pistachios include a healthy heart, weight management, protection against diabetes and hypertension, and improved digestion. The vitamins, minerals, fats and protein found in pistachio are all very good for your health.

Nutrition. Pistachios contain fewer calories and more potassium and vitamin K per serving than other nuts. A 1-ounce serving of dry-roasted pistachios contains 160 calories, 6 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 15 grams of fat, including only 2 grams of saturated fat.

Health benefits go out the window when you look at the added salt. That said, Aldi's nuts are far tastier than KP or any of the other own brands, and I'll be stocking up in the January reductions! Still got a packet of Pistachios from last year and not long finished last year's cashews. Yum yum.:D

How much were the January reductions priced at?

Too long ago to remember, but not long to wait for the next ones. :D

Bought these last week. Lovely and fresh, nice and salty. There is 4.5 grams of salt in the whole bag, so having a bag a day should be fine....

Are you referring to the loose pistachios that Lidl sell?

No but the packet ones are the best.
