Meet the family of pink long-nosed Clangers who live and whistle on a blue cratered moon somewhere in space.

The Clangers enjoy the simple things in life, like green soup and blue-string pudding and are happy to share their
moon with unforgettable characters such as the Soup Dragon, the Froglets, several Glow Buzzers, the Iron Chicken and any other visitor who may decide to drop in.

Sorry to interrupt your mutual back-patting with something about clangers, but here goes...

My 75 year old mum who was a typist at the BBC tells me the following:

There should be a warning about these DVDs as Clangers were apparently unsuitable for children under 7 years old.

Younger humans have sensitive ears and the first series of clangers had to be adjusted after complaints from various medics - as this was in the days of snail mail the adjustment took 4 episodes to make.

Personally, I loved the clangers but think children's hearing needs protecting.

Interesting comment, however I would have thought a child's hearing would be more affected by playing this (or any other dvd or cd) loudly, rather than a problem with the Clangers per se, but I am happy to be corrected.
