You can easily fit a pair of affordable shoes yourselves simply by drawing round the childs foot while standing then measuring their own little finger width at the end of the longest toe. Simply slip the paper template into the intended purchase and ensure that the template sits comfortably in it and does not curl up at the edges.
I'm not against Clarks, they have some lovely shoes. I buy Clarks and Asda/George and fit them myself.
Hope this is useful to someone on a tight budget.

No, honestly, thats what i do with George shoes for my little mob. Saves the Clarks ones for "best" and use the cheap ones for nursery.

Thanks OP just ordered the Gypsy Leg Patent. No free home delivery on childrens footwear though, only in store collection.

Went into store today and got my 19 month old son a pair of shoes reduced from £36.99 down to £15 , fantastic!
