I used to love getting Doodles for my kids but the quality seems to have gone downhill in the last year or 2. Disappointing cos they look so lovely :(

These are very narrow fitting as well compared to other clarks shoes.

Agreed, my children are both G fitting and the G Doodles straps are way too short in the past 2 years (previously they were fine) :(

8% Quidco too!

Good price but my daughter has this shoe & the quality isn't great.

seems that most agree that the quality has gone down of late. I bought some for £40 for my grandson and they have split in several places and they are only 8 months old and school shoes so not worn all the time

One thing i hate i buying the kids shoes, i dread going into town and the misses saying "lets get their feet measured" as i know its going to part me of £60. Hot from me, loads of shoes on offer. Bought a few in the next size up as well.

I buy Clarks leather shoes and I am very happy with the quality, but £20 for a canvas shoes is a shocking price.
I got nice trainers for my girls from sainsbury's sale last month for £4.

Glad it's not just me who thinks the straps are ridiculously short. My little boy seems to have big feet anyway comparable to the rest of him but after only a few weeks the straps on these were so short I could barely fasten them. Won't be buying again which is a shame.

Thanks for that, I was tempted to try it but both my kids have wide feet so will avoid!

Had that problem at the weekend - they measured my daughter as an 8E, while the assistant was looking in the store room for shoes in that size we tried her in 8E, 8F and 8G Doodles and even the G strap was too short...

I've gone completely off clarks. They are surviving off the reputation of good quality shoes but unfortunately these days the quality is very poor. While it is expected that children's shoes will only last a couple of months before they are outgrown you still don't expect them to fall apart in an equally short space of time.
I take my daughter there to be measured and she always comes out as an E fitting but the last couple of times we have been the shop has had no stock of E fitting shoes so it completely defeats the object of having a measuring service.
I have now started shopping at an independent shop that stocks other brands.

Quality isn't great on these. I bought a pair after seeing this offer, they haven't been worn every day since then and already the sole has split. Expect better from Clarks.
