Aren't branded training shoes available lower cost and more trendy?
Clarks is hardly "cool".

Are they any better than Nike, Reebok, Gola et al?
All made for around £3 overseas!

They are well made, come in half sizes and you get them fitted if that is important to you. But saying that you are right that the mark up on kids shoes (no VAT I think) is incredible.

Full list here by the way.

My kids all have high insteps so need a narrow toe but G fit. Branded or any non-fitted shoes just aren't an option for their delicate growing feet. Agree costs a fortune though so ordered a pair each - wanted to add a "party" style for my daughter but will only allow you to order 3 pairs?? It's not even 3 in a similar size (or even gender) - boys size 12, girls size 8 and boys size 3.5 (dinky!)

Perhaps make 3 orders, an order for each child?

Did wonder if they'd let me put through a second order immediately afterwards but ended up getting my youngest from the outlet. Now just hoping the others fit and I'm sorted 'til the back to school shoes... spent a small fortune on footwear but saved a fair bit too if all comes good. Ta for the post :D
