Saw this in the metro today, not an expert on these by any means, but looks like some significant savings, if you can find stock at your local store (home delivery doesnt seem to be available). But brands like pioneer for £40 seems pretty decent (especially as you can actually find stock lol. A good alternative for those who missed out on the sony model with the free speakers previously posted.

sorry! they had stock before, I posted it here as soon as I reserved mine. They defo had stock in Birmingham and Solihull. In fact they had the items on display in Birmingham Argos (I nipped in on my lunchbreak to check out the 50£ panasonic). By all means no all models are in stock, but if it remains like earlier if you scout around a couple of the models should be available in a store nr you

by the way this is my 1st deal, so apologies if its not very hot
#6
I just found one near me - so clearly not out of stock.
#7
Loads of stock in Kent. Just add the lot to your basket and search all the local stores.
#8
Found some stock in Basingstoke

good good, I thought I'd gone nuts lol

Loads of the £49.99 panasonic ones left in Portsmouth Southampton area.

Although a quick google shows these available for £56 so a few places must be clearing them out.

Panasonic also has a 3.5mm jack for mp3 too.

Voted hot.

To the best of my knowledge you'll be able to hook the head unit up to the original speakers no problem. Unless your car is really really old - then you might have a problem.

Jojina, Solihull and Birmingham have stocks of the 50£ panasonic. Its strange though I saw at least three of them on the shelf in Birmingham priory square branch, literally had one in my hands looking at one in the pallisades, but yet when I used my pda none appeared available for reserve.
#17
if solihull appears out, they wont be tomorrow, I have the pioneer and the panasonic reserved, so at least one will become available...im thinking the panasonic, anyone who wants the reserve code pm me

You'll probably need an iso connector which is an adaptor, get one off ebay.

In the Spring/Summer 2007 book it shows the Pioneer DEH40MP model £129.99 with Free fitting worth £39.99. Anyone know if this will still apply at the clearance price of £64.99?
If so this would be a great bargain.
#25
If anyone in the Swansea area wants a Panasonic unit, I can give them a reservation number. I reserved two units by mistake.

You can ask, but tbh it only takes minutes to fit a head unit so you may as well diy. Also these 'free' fitting offers don't tend to include loom adapters afaik, so chances are you would still have to pay something.

worth trying to reserve again; stock seems to have been replenished

No stock anywhere near me

I just checked all the stores in the teeside area for the £39.99 Sony, and in stock at Billingham Argos.

Quick Tip: the "reserve for store pickup" wasnt working on the web page, and the phone number was a non-geographical one (0870, 0845 etc)
these numbers dont come off your free mobile minutes, so you are charged.

I went to saynoto0870.com and found a freephone number for Argos. now freephone numbers are also chargeable on mobiles, but if you have skype installed you can still call 0800 numbers for free.
