Just received an email from them, many items including Cameras, Camer accessories, PC accessories, memories, bags etc

Not everyone might be interested, but it's still worth a look.

I like this Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS80 Digital Camera - Black for £69.99

Not when you add delivery.

Ah, I hadn't factored that in.

I'm so used to it being free elsewhere.

No worries, thats always the trouble with 7dayshop for me... and its why ive never ordered from them.

I have never bought from them - but some prices here are quite good.

The delivery is £3.95 - and I guess you would manage to beat some total prices elsewhere if you spent £30+.

I have been tempted to give their rechargeable batteries a try with 4 x 2500mAh AA for £2.79 - and they also do an 8 circuit deltaV AA/AAA charger with an impressive spec for about 11 quid. With those justifying the postage - LOADS of cheapos could be added on making it a really good deal.

UK NORMAL DISPATCH - £3.95
• Average Dispatch Times: 1-3 working days
• Average Delivery Times from dispatch: 3-5 working days

UK PRIORITY DISPATCH - £6.95

Orders placed after this time will be treated as an order placed the following day.
Orders placed on weekends may take until Tuesday to be dispatched.

Hmm how do you know it was the battery to blame? I suspect the charger was at fault here. LOL he says it is a good quality fast charger IMO there is no such thing!

This is a charger issue not a battery issue IMO.

Just thought I'd add I bought 2 dozen 7dayshop rechargeables, AA & AAA about 2-3 years ago and they're still going strong - one finally gave up the ghost last month (wouldn't recharge) but the others are in constant circulation round my remotes / Wii / camera etc... without any problems. Charged capacity seems as good as any of my branded batteries

It's worth having a decent intelligent charger though, rather than the more common timer based ones that you get in the packs of batteries + charger that high street stores generally have.

Note the brand of the charger in the flickr pic ;)

Same as me!!!

I'm a 7ds regular too, and have had about 5 set of their rechargeables and they are very good, never had problems myself. Mine are mostly 2800's. (just switching to Hybrios though...).

When memory was a little more expensive than now, they were always the best deal (ebay aside) even taking postage into account. Still good, although that £3.95 makes those ten quid bargains expensive. I usually take orders from around the office and split the post.

I've also got loads of their nimh batteries and never had a problem.

Another one been using their batteries for last few years. I have the AA 2800 mostly and they certainly do as well as or better than my Ansmann batteries. I charge the 7DS batteries in an Ansmann smart charger though, not some cheap looking un labelled jobbo in them Flickr pics :whistling:

Yep, another happy 7DS battery customer here, been using 2 sets of 2500 and two sets of 2800 in rotation for almost two years with no problems.

Find any literature that could possibly back up your claims and I will believe you. Just what makes a NiMh battery explode may I ask?
My charger uses a micro and rejects batteries that are faulty but more importantly looks after them whilst charging. They only ever get luke-warm (but usually stay cool) which is the maximum a rechargeable should get to under any circumstances - I am still using 750mA AA batteries purchased a loong time ago. In fact, the only batteries I have ever had to throw away are ones that ended up lost for two years and were too far gone (they actually change polarity if allowed to discharge completely!).

Anyway above link is a combination of using a fast charger and either 1. he left for too long or 2. the charger developed a fault and didn't time out or something. Maybe even tried to recharge when already full and charger didn't.

I've been using 7dayshop batteries and chargers for years and would recommend them to anyone.

Myself and colleagues have used their own brand Nikon D80 and Canon EOS batteries which are considerably cheaper than the branded ones with no probs whatsoever. Read the other positive reviews on site which back it up also.
