Offer also available for Moto L6 on same tariff at £5.99/month after cashback. Would still be Free (well, £3 profit actually and £15 profit on the 6630) after all cashback/Quidco+CPW £15 direct credit. Only major difference is that the L6 is a basic 2g phone and not as good as the 6630 which is 3g and better camera and is a symbian smartphone. But the L6 deal is better if you want to use the sim in another 2g handset which are more plentiful than 3g atm

Good deal - for CPW direct anyway!

Already seen this deal. Another one is L7 clearance £5.99 x12 with £60 quidco plus £15 which makes it free with some profit. plus phone and mins of course!
#2
Yeah the L6 tariff is 75 mins anytime though rather than this offpeak with 750 mins which might be better or worse depending on what sort of contract you want. CPW is £60 at the moment so both deals are bascially free assuming Quidco pay up which they always have for me with CPW in the past.
#3
The phone is great but it's quite an old modal now. I've had mine for about 2 years and it wasn't that "new" when I bought it.
#4
Thanks riker71 :)

Go for this if you need a Reliable + Claim-Friendly cashback ..

Handset is old but brilliant though.. HOT +++ from cashback point of view

To get quidco, do you have to switch of pop up blocker and run cc cleaner or similar??

I believe it is recommended although I've never had any problems so far.

Also £20 for trading in any phone, manual and charger. I'm sure everyone's got one knocking around that they could get £20 for.

They're both the same aren't they? 750 minutes off peak?

Or you can do 150 minutes any time any network on the L6.

Don't think the L7 is available anymore, the L6 is tho.

It's a good deal - as I've just finished a similar one CPW/3 - but I wouldn't trust CPW as far as I could throw them - particularly on cashback.

Im also on 3 with CPW and had all my cheques ok, sounds like you had a problem with them, IMO they are the most reliable of all the retailers for cashback, best terms and conditions (eg 60 days to send bill in, they dont cancel the whole claim as E2save+OSPS now both seem to).

For anyone interested this offer is also available on the same tariff with the MotoRizr Z3 Black at £15/month after cashback, making total for the year with Quidco+CPW £15 taken into account £105 over 12 months or £8.75 per month average. A slim 2mp camera slider.

The L6 is available on the same offpeak deal although when I looked yest morning it was only with a 75 mins peak mins deal, which now seems to have gone. The 6630 deal actually makes you £15 profit after all monies are received and the L6 £3 profit. Deals Will probably end this weekend so if anyone is having 2nd thoughts I advise to get in there while its still available, dont see too many deal like this and certainly not on off peak tariffs, is very rare these days.

I agree that CPW are probably the best of the bunch with cashback - but they're not that good.

I'm just putting a small claims court claim together to get part of my money back from CPW.

Maybe it's just me tho'.

I've never had a problem getting chequebacks from CPW, what went wrong with yours? Did you send correct bill etc in time and send by at least recorded delivery? And did they recieve the recorded delivery or did it get lost in the post?

Two of us had an 18 month contract with CPW. But they (would) only gave us back 12 months of cashback. Different stores, same deal. Contract stated 18 months of cashback.

It really is as simple as that - there's no more to it. Hence the small claims court.

CPW refused to respond to any letters etc, store just gave us poor excuses and referred us to HQ and call centre.

You got it in writing that you should've had 18 months free? Have you shown them that?

Definitely should be £60 according to Quidco, you can raise an earnings enquiry with Quidco after 10 days I think.

http://www.quidco.com/carphone-warehouse/

CARPH0NE WH0REH0USE is the largest independent retailer of mobile communications in Europe.

For genuine tracked transactions completed wholly online, you can earn:
£5 for other phone sale - on a per transaction basis, not per phone
5% for accessory, ringtone or other sale
£10 for Prepay Nokia2310 (£19.95 T-Mobile), Nokia 6080 (£29.95 Vodafone/Virgin), Nokia 6300 (£99.95 Orange/o2)
£60 for contract (pay monthly) phone sale - on a per transaction basis, not per phone

Carphone warehouse won't offer you anything not to send it back. I've just had a massive fight with them about getting the money that was promised to me. I won though!!!
#22
only might send back cos i figured out best deal including £60 cashback, if its only £35 might rethink (tho whether its worth it for £25 im not sure, depends if i can be bothered)

am getting a bit worried about claiming the line rental back now though! hadnt read any negative reviews about them til now. anyway im not scared of a bit of a barney, might give me something to do if i get bored

You won't have any problems getting your cashback from CPW, I've always received mine fine. As long as you've got it in writing somewhere that you're getting 12 months free and claim correctly then you've got nothing to worry about.

The money I was chasing them for was offered to me over the phone and I had no proof of that, I have since started recording all phone calls I'm likely to need as evidence.

Replaced with £80 off selected deals, rubbish!

Yeah the £15 has gone but if the £60 quidco is still paying up then contract is free

yeah, better offers at phones4u at the mo which work out as £60 quidco profit, and better phones.
banned#28
but for ones who buying this just as a spare contract for lavish calling and to selloff the handset, its gud coz u pay just £25 a month. for some of phones4u deals, cash back is rubbish. £14 and £42 and so on and u pay £40 a month. crap.

May be a bit late to point this out, but worth noting that you can get the tariff with 150 minutes anytime, for the same price, by selecting 'show all offers' (as links shows 'best offer').

Good find. Went for the 150 mins option - thanks (rep added).

A few people have this. I would suggest saving the Quidco web page that shows £60 for CPW contracts to your Hard Drive and put in an earnings enquiry with Quidco ('missing or incorrect cashback'), which I think you can do after 10 days. I got a PAYG Nokia 6080 on Voda from they recently which is supposed to give £10 and it only tracked £5 so will be doing this as well, I suggest everyone who gets this deal or any other CPW contract to raise an earnings enquiry with Quidco as it clearly states £60!!

I have already sumitted an enquiry to Quidco about this. Let's see what they say. CPW are giving £45 via TradeDoubler. So they should atleast pay that.

Got the phone today (after a failed City Link delivery). Phone is T-Mobile branded. So likely to be locked. Does anyone know how easy to unlock the phone is (if locked)?.

Still no response from Quidco about the missing £25.

Very hard to unlock, see the BB5 thread on MSE.

For info,

You have successfully submitted an earnings enquiry. Enquiries are normally sent to merchants in batches every month. If your enquiry is succesful, your account will be adjusted to reflect this.

Merchants can take a long time to resolve enquiries so please do not contact us about the progress of your enquiry until at least 90 days have passed. Please do contact us though if you need to correct the details of your enquiry or if the transaction comes in of its own accord.

The phone didn't look very new to me. Just wondering if it is worth keeping the phone.

It's a clearance phone so wont be brand new. Could be useful for webnwalk whilst out and about. I had 2 of these phones, lost one, gave the other away! Only good thing about it is 3g really!

Isn't webnwalk an extra £10 pm ?.
