Says £19.99 when I click through, with £4.95 delivery, making a total of £24.94.
Hi there Halloway. I did explain in the description that there was packaging and posting on top of the price.
HUKD site convention is to include shipping costs in deal title price, although Halloway is also noting the vendor landing page quotes a price £2 higher than the current £17.99 (+ £4.95 delivery) deal price. Is there a discount code avalable to obtain the £17.99 price?

The only obvious amazingness about this item is that anyone but the marketing team would mention a mythical price of double the current selling price. Even the mail order house that shifts this stuff gave up attempting to sell this item at £19.99 on Amazon.

They are cowboys, i ordered on thr and paid £8.45 for sat delivery. Sat came and went and my order still shows as processing.

called them up and they said they were low on stock. Crooks, website never said that and still allowed me to choose sat delivery

When I saw this post I immediately thought "Oxfords not Brogues" for those who get the reference!

Words to live by, biggiep. Words to live by.

what the hell, ordered two pairs. Should be ok for my desk job

likely to make your feet tired, but all depends what you are used to wearing, go to a decent old school menswear if you can & try the difference on your feet, just so you know the comparison.

Are people actually complaining that they don't last when they are effectively £20 a pair!? Even if they last 9 months, that is still cheaper than shoes you get from discount shoe shops!
I guess this thing is, a decent pair of shoes made from top quality leather with outstanding workmanship will get better and better with age as the character of the creases develop and the leather ages with the layers of polish you add. A pair of these will look good at the start and simply deteriorate. They won't age. Now you can make a choice and I don't judge, but, I'll know if you are wearing a decent shoe or not. Same with a suit. And again, I don't mean to be a snob but if you want to dress well and look good, then there's only one choice you can make (apart from that 1st outing!).
And again, it's what you want - I make no judgement.

That is well put sir!

The creases in the leather in a cheap pair will be a bind to wear long term (akin to a sack cloth collar rubbing on your neck) ..shape holding / form of the leather from a good pair that have aged is positively marvellous.

A mate of mine ordered a cheap pair (he had no concept of quality / style / cut, merely wore them to fit in amongst his office peers. ..sadly the result was a short guy who looked like frankenstein's monster in thick heels with a poorly cut shoe.

I tried, honest I did, & back then being close to Northampton good seconds were nearly as cheap as what he paid for a top brand, ..ah well.
They looked as clunky as my steel toecaps for working round horses when the smithy was in.
Will these be as good as my John Lobbs?

Does it really rotate the waffle through 180 degrees, as it cooks?

Looks like you twist it at the handle to flip it over.
Ah, thanks - It all makes sense now. I had entirely the wrong idea (wrong plane of rotation..)

"I have been buying them almost every year". Does it mean that they only last one year? Ok they are cheap, but I had similar priced shoes that lasted more than 5!
This does not mean all for myself though. On the other hand I would be bored to wear (I mean constantly) the same shoe for more than couple of years and they would be deform and not as great as new ones.

These are not very good. Bought some a while back - different styles. None of them any good.

What exactly is not good with them?

Blimey I had a look at the website and it's like I've been transported back to the 1990s
http://www.clifford-james.co.uk/DNTEMP/photos/CounterImages/shop-BV115.jpg
Which means in 2014 they are bang on in fashion again. There is a limit as to how many period styles you can have in 100 years for moccasin style slip on. Try it yourself on a piece of paper, draw some designs, after the 20th different drawings of this slip on styles your first drawing made 10 mins ago would look extremely dated.
Had these in the same deal a year ago , but were £34.99 then......however, this is still agreat price and the shoes are proper leather with proper soles.

Great for work....I got brogue design ones, black and brown.
I have had these before and thought the quality was great. both my pairs had leather soles too
Awful quality. Mine were actually mouldy when they arrived (presumably from china). Incredibly uncomfortable too, especially the suede Chelsea boots. Save yourselves the money.

The ones that I received seem very good value for money, are well-made and look more expensive than they are. With previous experience of these shoes, they should wear OK to.
Wearing mines today, and they may look plastic to some but it is genuine leather and feels like a leather nice and comfy. 8)
Received mine yesterday but hubby hates them.
It's true they look very plastic...they are going back
Received my order today, but they'll have to go back. The quality seems decent, but they just aren't big enough despite ordering the 13s.

Plenty of gadgets on this but have found that you need to keep cleaning the bowl when mixing cakes , the beater just won't reach the sides so you have to use a spatchula to constantly clean it off a real pain. Great for making bread dough but not so good for Victoria sponges. Now make my cakes by hand as by the time I have stopped and cleaned the sides it's easier to make the by good old elbow power.
cheers:)) Your comments are helpful for me:))
Just been browsing Ebay and found this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/READY-STEADY-COOK-SM982-STAND-MIXER-BLACK-/360546856845?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Kitchen_Mixers&hash=item53f2446f8d

Its also available direct from Argos so you can save the delivery cost:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9020122.htm

Its not got the mincer and blender but looks ok just for baking etc
steevieboy4u
My Mrs has got the exact same one (i bought it for £99 can't rememebr where though, might have been Groupon)

Its really good, the only thing she doesn't like about it is, it's quite noisy when the mixing.

I suppose that i know from where:
http://store.bid.tv/bidtv/Kitchenware/ED108216/ProductDetail.raction
Good deal by the way,I will now compare these products:))
I think with the extras it actually means you get a worse mixer (power etc). If you read the reviews on Amazon rated very good. There is a lower starred review which comments on noise. I guess by the look of them they are identical machines with different badges. If you go on the Andrew James website they have an identical one with the mincer etc (but more expensive).
Probably going for the £99 Andrew James machine but my girls only want it for baking etc so no interest in the extras.

This is even better with 18000 tv channels and 38000 radio stations. Bargain.Farfromout should post this as a deal.
So, it's a USB flash drive with some, probably rubbish, software that allows you to watch legit but rubbish channels in rubbish quality, as well as (probably) less legit but useful channels, also in rubbish quality. If you're going to watch foreign TV streams (for whatever reason) at least don't get ripped off in the process.

Those girls can charge a flat battery so why spending money on jump start kits!!
not a good idea realy because it would take for ever for the power to be transfered to the battery..

I have heavy duty jump leads. As soon as you put them on literally in 5 secs it would fire up a completely dead battery.

So don't bother buying cheap jump leads to because they take forever to charge the battery from past experience.
