Clubcard Points With Tesco Tyres

Tesco Tyres was launched to provide an easy and straightforward way for you to purchase new tyres.

In a few simple steps you can select the tyre that's best for you - from a wide range of makes and models - and then book your fitting at one of our local fitting centres. You can also pick the fitting time and date that suits you. All our fully fitted prices include fitting, balancing and new standard valves - meaning there's nothing to pay when you arrive at the garage.

After your order has been received, everything will be handled by a dedicated customer service agent who will confirm your appointment with our fitting partner. They will also monitor the progress of your order, from the tyres leaving one of our distribution centres to their arrival at your fitting centre. In essence, they ensure that everything runs smoothly with your order.

Is it any cheaper than going direct to Blackcircles.com?
#4
Seems to be less choice, same prices?

Suppose there's the bonus of getting the Clubcard points though.

Tesco tyres!!! Whatever next! Every little helps i suppose x

prices are no better than anywhere else, it's easy to price compare with Kwikfit and be lower, but KF with price match anyway
#9
Mytyres are cheaper, well they are for what I'm thinking of fitting on my car.

next up for Tesco's..........Becoming the biggest house builder when they start developing all the land they bought up to stop rivals opening near to them.

I have always found the independents to be cheaper than the likes of kwikfit, ATS and also probably be cheaper than Tesco too.

So true. They did that in Slough, got taken to court and lost! A nice big Sainsburys is there now!

I find it cheaper to get tyres from camskill then pay the local garage to fit them.

went to blackcircles site first & offered me £72.90 a tyre for my citroen c8. Went through Tescotyres & it went up to £98. ????????

They arent particularly cheap for my 3-Series which takes a common size. Came in at around £80 fitted compared to £30 delivered from the site I usually use. Most places will only charge you a fiver to fit and balance your tyres. With possibly another fiver each for disposal of your old tyres.

I find that going to Camskill first for a price and then going to my local independent and asking for a price (if high) and then I mention Camskill price and he agrees to do it at that price without extra fitting charge.
Why is this over 100 heat? Vredestein all season tyres for me ;)

£5 fitting, what year was that? I had 4 tyres fitted recently (16") and paid £12+vat per tyre for fitting and balancing.

Back to original post, good find thanks

Golly! Tyres that are £60-£75 fitted at my local tyre dealer are £76-111 on here for exactly the same products!

I thought this was HOT UK DEALS, NOT RIP OFFS BY TESCO.

my local council recycling dept now take tyres, so save yourself a few quid and take them there yourself. Last time i had to pay for tyres i supplied and Formula1 fitted and balanced them they charged me over 10 quid each. The bloke who does mine for free was off sick at the time. Was i sick when i was given the bill

"Unexpected item in bagging area!"

I reckon it was that disabled shopping cart driver wot caused that. Notice he's legged it. Or hopped it.

Cold, as Blackcircles offer the same products (albeit without clubcard points), but mainly because I'm sick of Tesco trying to take over the whole retail space. Clubcard points for Tesco Burials can only be a short time away I fear.....
#36
I didn't find blackcircles prices competitive at all, and having a smug Eamonn Holmes popping up on their website promoting them was the last straw.

I got a pair of Toyo tyres from Tyre Shopper, fitted locally at the National fitting centre for a decent price and Quidco too. Good service.

Bridgestone, Continental, Falken, Vredestein - all brands available on BlackCircles, but not through Tesco Tyres front end.

Prices don't seem any better than Black Circles, and I get discount from Black Circles through car club membership discounts that won't apply on the Tesco Tyres site.
#39
Did a comparison for various tyres to fit my car and in every case Camskill were cheaper (they also have a wider range of tyres). For this reason and regardless of points I've voted cold.
#40
My bad, Eamonn Holmes promotes E-Tyres but left me scarred whilst surfing all the sites for a good tyre deal.
