Ridiculously cheap.....Hot !
#2
agreed, you would pay about £10 for the caddy alone.

Bought to use as backup for photos and documents and to keep separately. Realise the £/GB is far greater than the larger USB HDDs but I dont need 500GB for pictures, PDFs & word docs and at this price it will be good for backing up then storing away in a cupboard.
#3
well worth getting for those important backups.....nice deal
#4
hot from me!
#5
Hot Hot Hot!!!

Does anybody know if this works with one USB port or if it needs two to get enough power? I got an older Maxtor drive (also 80GB) who always insists on both calbes to be connected.
If it is happy with one this would be a good drive for the MP3s in the car!
#7
You can't go wrong at this price. . even though I have a few hard drives this will be handy to keep backup of music or movies
#8

#11
Looks like they had about a 1000 for sale. Just over 400 left in stock. Very good price, going for £25 on Zavii main site.

Edit: 368 now. Going fast!

If anyone's wondering how i'm checking quantities, if you put it on your watchlist and then go to your ebay profile, you can see the quantities.

Really attractive shipping rates when dispatched abroad (1.99gbp to EU countries), am staying in Poland now and the whole deal is still very competitive. I would need to pay at least 10gbp more when purchased similar HDD here in the outlet! So I bought one too 8)

Normally runs off 1 usb, i've had a few. You can also make em by buying an enclosure, around £4.50, and if you have an old laptop drive stick it in. This is a pretty good price though and they are very handy for larger data jobs
#22
Top spot OP.

Cheers

Well £41.99... Could've got it for less than £38 last week. All pretty much under £50 nowadays.

I don't think you quite understand what hot and cold means.

The only way this would be cold is if you could find an 80GB portable hard drive cheaper than £16.99 delivered, which you can't.

There's a 4GB memory card for £4.50 which got super-hot. That's £1.125 per GB.

Everybody knows the price per GB would decrease each time you increase the amount of GB's you're getting.
