they have 110 in stock now,

So they have sold almost a 1000 in the last 4 days. around £2.3m one 1 product.

Now someone please tell me there is nothing fishy going on.

hmmm

More than likely a very basic eCommerce engine that doesn't do stock control. If you look at most of their products they state 1100 in stock.

As I say, there probably is some sort of a case but not one I'd touch with a barge pole, it's immoral! Let's be honest though you'd have to be hard faced to demand your mower (and you'd need a lot of luck with your case as it would be no way clear cut). They had a shock on Monday morning and refunded everything properly and promptly. I'm sure they'll put something in place to check their prices before they go live online now. We had a chance to imagine fantasy lawnmower rallies and races:) lets leave it at that! Their prices are actually good so they may even get some new business out of the carnage. Could you really mow your lawn knowing you've put someone out of a job....not for me I'm afraid....

CNM Online have a total exemption for audting purposes based on the information from Companies house. This means they have a small turnover, less than 2.8M in assets and less than 50 staff. If they were forced to honour all the orders for this ( a few hundred at over a £2k loss per order) it could quite easily be administration time.

Getting a good deal is one thing, even a price error from a big company that can absorb the loss is another, but the talk of screwing a small company for a few quid is all rather sad IMO.

Absolutely. I'm not sure why I posted this. I think I was in a bit of a hysterical mood, and was sort of parodying the insanity you get on this site sometimes, but really it was a bit sad.

From the reply the guy from CNM posted they seem like a reasonable bunch of actual people running a company. I'd never heard of them before I found this, but would definitely look at them when I next need a radiator or lawnmower or whatever, especially after all the carnage we've (half) caused.

I guess they 'sail' away at that sale price!!! :whistling:

If you really started picking apart the spelling in that post we would be here all day.

Anyway it looks like a rip off for already mentioned reasons. Cold.

well insulated probably?

If it is any more insulated than any other product out there, you would have thought they would have mentioned it.

How does it use any less power to keep the water at boiling point than any other similar device?

well insulated probably?

I have just bought one for my busienes and as its a replacement for the one I have I know the addvantages of this unit
I agree it is more expensive then an (16l urn for around £60 )
but these units, ones thay reach temp use verry little power to keep the watter at boiling point
and it is readdy for when the you need a large volume of hot water
the avarage cost of a cup off tea and coffee is 10p to 20p with a sail price over £1.00 you do the maths
