Spotted these reduced fat curry sauces today at just under half price in Somerfield (I'd guess they are the same in Co-Op??).

I didn't buy any, as I'm already stocked up on Patak's (from Asda @ 2 for £1.50 and Home Bargains @ 69p) but I thought it seemed a good deal for anyone that watches the calories and takes care to eat more healthily than I do!

I saw Tikka Masala, Balti and Rogan Josh and I think there were at least a couple of other varieties too.

Thanks. Had these before and they are lovely.

The sauce is surprising nice for a healthy living product, however I'm not a huge fan of the naan breads which are also half price.

sainsbury's has patak's at half price @ 90p each.

And?

We had the korma one the other night - very nice, bargain at half-price, but still nicer than most brands even at full-price. The nicest in-a-jar sauce I've had is M and S Makrahni, but this is about £1.75 a jar.

Its 48p in our Co-op, Special deal. Also have 540g of chicken breast fillets for £3.50..............:?

I had the Tikka Masala sauce friday night and it was one of the best curries i have had out of a jar for a long time. I won't pay silly prices for them though i can get the real thing round here for £4.50.

... and I for one am grateful for the comment made. Nearest supermarket to me is Sainsbury's as there's no Co-Op near me. I do enjoy the Patak's Madras sauce so will probably get a jar tomorrow. This site's for deals, so don't be so condescending to other members.

As for this deal, it is indeed a good bargain. I'll have to see if I can pass by one when I'm next out and about to grab a jar.

It's worth pointing out that the Co-Op are in the proccess of assimilating Somerfield stores into the 'Mother Deal'.
so in this instance this deal was alraedy posted here:

God, im feeling hungry now.

I bought a few of these the other day in a few of the varieties. So far I have tried the chicken tikka which was surprisingly good, one of the best jar sauces I've had in a good while, especially for a healthy option one.

Definitely recommended.

bread aisle pair of naans were half price last week as well.
I tried the madras, tikka masala and korma - none spectacular, but all good enough for 54p. The korma went in with two tins of baked beans, for a slightly different sausage, beans and mash

I bought the madras the other day, opened it for a sniff and put it away in the fridge as it smelt a bit too fruity for my liking. It'll probably sit there until I next clear the fridge out and chuck it, but I might feed it to the hubby over the next few days.

Just had the Balti one for dinner very impressed.
