Just 3p and 1p price labels on empty shelves in my local the other day :(
haha bargain!
Cardiff store had wrong priced Christmas prices on shelf. The chocolate coins were marked at 25p a bag, but 10p at the checkout. Not that I need more Christmas confectionery mind you. But a bargain is a bargain.

Nice tea, try Punjana, more expensive but worth it :)

Punjana? Isn't that the Asian word for lady bits?
Nice tea, try Punjana, more expensive but worth it

Not worth it any longer, Punjana tastes exactly like all the other branded teas. Yorkshire (All varieties) , Tetley, PG Tips, Twinnings all nearly identical, wishy washy, bland tasting even with two tea bags . Even the extra strong, estate, specialist blend, type or Country teas are lacklustre in taste and appearance. Maybe the reason is down to the uniform weight (250g for 80 bags) or when the tea blenders and tasters state that they've adjusted the blend to compliment semi-skimmed milk in tea, it's difficult to say. Sadly black tea doesn't have the bitter, strong, complex, and punchy taste of yesteryear due to the Assam leaves.

really .bloody hell i havent been using mine coz they told me coop brand only

You should definitely use it, even if you're not buying own-brand stuff. The dividend points might end up being worthless (or plain cancelled like the last couple of years), but you get regular money off coupons when you use the card too. Every week I get a 50p off £4 spend, or the occasional (and worse value) £1 off a £10 spend. I got a coupon for free mince pies a month ago, and I get coupons for money off cat food and other random stuff (I do buy cat food in there occasionally, so it appears to be targeted).

that's where shopping in Co-ops becomes confusing. my coop card is for central England coop stores. I have had a balance loaded onto my card every year that I can remember.

Don't like Yorkshire tea at all, will give Punjana a go as an alternative to my usual Assam. Thanks.

Our local Co-op doesn't reduce anything, still got Christmas stock full price!

Try getting them to scan something through the till, it might scan at reduced price. Some stores are lazy and don't change price labels. If not then ask them why they don't reduce seasonal stock like other coop stores.

Had the right tickets on the shelves at mine yesterday - for the few products that were left that is! Picked up a couple of the Jumper Gingerbread kits at 20p. Also it's worth checking the chilled aisle - Christmas cheeses were marked as 20p.

Wow thats a fab price for the cheeses, do they have ok use by dates?.
I never saw any fresh xmas reductions in my local. All fresh still marked at full price, maybe they just haven't changed the tickets?
I did check the fresh isle but no reduction shelf lables or stickers.
Great find!

Thanks - always useful to have a few bottle bags to hand -
I hate when I have to buy one and pay full price - as they can often be £2 - £3....... when you are in a rush and have to get one from the only shop open at the time !!
Plus my kids (grown up) come asking for a spare bottle bag - and always take my nicest ones.
Totally agree! Every single reason you state is exactly the same here, and why I bought them to put away for next year! :)

Not much left at mine - got the KP Nuts scanned as still showing with a marginal reduction ie £2.10 - they were still £2.10 :(

Has anyone bought these, just wondering if the choc best before date would be OK for Easter ?
The one I got was bb 19/01/2017 so no good for Easter, others may be different though. You could always give the cuddly toy with some other chocolates though.

We bought two - one was January, the other July so have a root around.

The Co-operative – A Wide-ranging Retail Business

The Co-operative Group is the largest consumer co-operative in the UK with its headquarters in Manchester. Able to trace its origins to the merger of co-operative wholesale societies with a group of independent retail societies in the mid-19th century, the Co-operative introduced the idea of profit sharing using a dividend scheme. It developed into a wholesale business that was owned entirely by its member co-operatives and today the Co-operative Group has over 3,500 outlets, an online site, and around 8 million members. Anyone who is over the age of 16 and who shares the company's aims and values can become a Co-op member. Its subsidiaries include the Co-operative Banking Group and its online electrical store.

How to Find the Co-operative – Online or on the High Street

What Payment Methods are accepted by The Co-op?

The Co-operative online store allows shoppers to pay by PayPal or with American Express, Visa Debit, Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard.

Shipping Costs

The Co-op provides a free delivery service with 60-minute time slots, even on large appliances and TVs. Shoppers receive a text and e-mail on the day prior to delivery to tell them what slot they have been allocated. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait in, you can choose to have large items delivered during the morning or afternoon for a charge of £9.99. The store offers a Rapid Delivery service on highlighted products that are in stock at their warehouse. However, next day delivery isn't always possible for remote areas like the Scottish Highlands & Islands.

Shoppers should note that if they unavailable to accept a planned delivery, they will be charged a higher rate for redelivery. This is because The Co-op's profit margins are relatively low and the additional cost of redelivery could see the company make a loss on some items. A full list of redelivery charges can be found on The Co-Operative web page.
