For those of you who like your asian savoury snacks, asda are doing these dry savoury packs for £1.00 for 2. Normally 98p each. Most of you will know what Bombay mix is, as for Chevda it's a mix of flakes that look like fine cornflakes, small bits of lentils and other savoury stuff. Good accompiants with drinks.

Good deal, 69p for a bag in Home Bargains

might be local offer as they are not on 2 for £1 at my Asda, just the usual 98p per bag. :? I bought some yesterday.

edit: Just checked online and no 2 for £1 offer showing there either.

are these from the same people who do those chilli shells and twirls ??

I don't like crisps, but those are ridiculously more-ish and i hate it when someone opens a packet of those. lol

The corn flake mix is best....

I also buy a bottle of bhel puri sauce (ambli) a bottle of super hot chilli sauce, a tin of new potatoes and a splash of lemon juice and hey presto - Indian Street food!!!

my favourite type is something called pani puri, you can only get it in certain places but when its made right, it can be one of the best indian snacks.

Isn't bombay mix just the contents of the local tandoori's hoover bag?

you know what - you're an absolute goddam idiot for making such a suggestion.

As a matter of fact someone suggested exactly the same this the last time this offer was on - it wouldnt surprise me if it was you.

This food is a product of hundreds of years of Indian culture.

Prefer the Balti mix myself but these are a good deal even at full price.
