This is a bargain as I ordered one from the recent blacks deal, which is out of stock. This is the single mattress as dimensions show, but shows double mattress.

As a cyclist/camper i looked at this with interest, the weight of 3kg has put me off.
Think i'll just stick to a lightweight roll mat.
Have added heat, looks good enough, but not for me.

we have a double airbed that we use for camping or spare room for us if kids are poorly etc...I hear these are much more comfortable and practical than an airbed, would you folk tend to agree?
I intend to buy two instead of 1 double mat as I think that would be a more practical move.

Yes definitely - we had an air bed and borrowed a mat for our last camping trip. The mat is so much more comfortable. It has the added benefit of not needing blowing up too.

Just to let potential buyers know that if you walk into your local store and tell them u want it at the internet price. They WILL honour it for you as you have told them. If you dont mention it then they will charge u full.

Great!! Reserved one for collection.

Also might be ideal as a mattress topper for a single bed for that price?

Is this a self inflating mat? It says in the description that it has a "solid inner foam", which makes me think it doesn't require inflating but it's not clear.

Sounds like a good idea.

Its the foam inside that actaully inflates it as it expands when you open the air valve then you close it when its fully inflated.
To deflate them you open the valve and roll/squash all the air out then tighten the valve.

It would not really be suitable for a few reasons.
The width is only 63cm so narrower than a standard single bed and when these are inflated they are quite rigid and feel weird to lay on if used as a mattress topper (i have tried)
If used on a solid floor or a bed base they are fine.

Sleeping on one at the moment, have done for the past four nights camping on a slope! So comfy - slept through till morning every time. I wasn't sure whether to believe the hype but goodness me - wouldn't go camping without it!

Great price! I would never go back to using airbeds after we got our 10cm SIMs.

Yes, of course you did.

Picked mine up today and they seem spot on, inflated straight away and were comfortable during the short lie down I had.
Much prefer the stability than a rolling, squidgy airbed.
