The OP's link works, if you go via yours its £109.95, rather than £93.98!

Good price for the UK but a quick google reveals 'rip off Britain' again. State side price £56-£70:x

could always buy from America and factor in the shipping costs....perhaps not so rip off now?

I reckon by the time you blow it up you'd be so out of puff....you couldn't paddle...lol

how to get from states to here

Shipping from the sates can be expensive but that was not the point I wasn't advocating buying and shipping in. I was merely pointing out the fact that retailers sell for $92 in the states because that is a realistic price compared to trade cost. Where in the UK it seams to be what the market will bear.

I quite agree with you, but surely that's the point of coming on this site. Plus European goods in the US of A tend to be more expensive. And we have governments who "believe it is right" that its citizens work half the year to pay them (the government) to spend their own money. Yanks try and oppose that as much as possible, we go, "OK".

As long as you hit the gulf stream it'll be plain sailing all the way to the UK. Might want to use the other seat to carry a fishing rod and a good book.

Mine arrived today. Now I need a pump - any suggestions.

And why has this, at 104 not been made hot?:x

2 questions from an unenlightened (but keen) kayaker
1) are there any restrictions on where you can kayak?
2) what's the best way of lugging this thing around?

Cheers

Be aware that using one of these in the winter is a very chilly experience - and of course you can't have your kayak and heat it! :whistling:

Not for me, looks little more than an inflatable toy.

You know they do make a one man version of this for £60 (RRP)

I was in a shop in Weymouth and saw one that looked like a similar design to this, but it was blue and for one person.

The shop (value house in Wyke Regis for all you locals) was £59.99 and they had loads left.

Not sure if you are able to get down there, but perhaps they are around somewhere online
