The PS3 version is slightly cheaper at SimplyGames (£29.89) but some people may prefer service at Amazon

why such a large price difference between 360 and PS3? I thought the main reason a games price stays high is due to it selling well. This has been out for a good while now and I don't see it in the PS3 charts.
#7
Ordered. Been waiting for this to come down to a decent price. Excellent find OP! (like others though, I can't work out why the PS3 version is double the price!?!?!).
#8
Because you can download 360 games so they have to reduce the price to try and get people to buy it instead. The PS3 has better copy-protection, which hasn't yet been cracked, and so they can still charge a lot as you have no alternative.

Errr...... you mean like Nintendo do with the DS or Wii?!? Im sure this has nothing to do with the price you pay. Its still full RRP at a lot of places so if it were a true RRP change EVERYONE would drop it. Its probably more to do with them getting rid of stockpiles of titles they bought by the shedload in anticipation of high sales. Alternatively, they could have seen GAME's price and altered accordingly?

possibly, but i would guess that MS anticipated high sales, not high illegal downloads. meaning surplus stock for xbox, and not surplus for ps3.

One could spin that around and say that sales on 360 have been higher and so they can drop the price earlier that they can with the PS3 (not a fanboy comment either, can't even evidence, Im just "suggesting").

Nice find, heat and ordered.

I've wanted it for ages, but wouldn't buy from Game.co.uk as they always send non-sealed games covered in fingerprints etc. If I buy new, I want new and sealed!
#16
Awesome, cheers. :)

yeah how do places get away with that, do it at ASDA, Gamestation etc as well. I used to work at GAME years ago and I never thought it was right as you're basically buying it used. Theyre never kept well protected either, often at GAME the disc was kept in the manual with a rubber band to keep it in which damaged the manual and scratching the part of the disc sticking out! :x

Yeah its a pet hate of mine, if buying instore I always ask for sealed. If they have no sealed stock I walk away.

Nearly bought this after trading in MW2 today in Game, but they were OOS. Just saved me 10quid and now I've got a gift card with 22 quid on it! Thanks. Heat added! :)

Get a PS3 then you can pay twice the price :?

Damn, I thought this deal was common knowlege, I ordered a few days ago, and had it delivered yesterday.

Its a great game, as long as you can live with it being very American - flashy, whiney and drivers are 'celebrities'. One of my favourite games in a while.

Its because it has been an offer with GAME last week, with free 1st class delivery. This is still a hot offer though.
#34
Whats the online like in for this game?

Would be the only reason why I buy it.
#35
Got this last week from Game at the same price, quality game I must say.

Great graphics on a 1080p TV.

R.I.P Colin McRae
#37
Good price but have too many games now.
Will hopefully drop below a tenner during the summer.
#38
I really want to order this, but can't afford it. Argh
