Codemasters premier rally simulator makes a welcome return in this sequel to DiRT that offers more robust environments and full online functionality.

Since the Colin McRae series first made its mark on consoles, its been the rally title to beat. Colin McRae DiRT gave the series a graphical overhaul for the modern console generation, and DiRT 2 continues to improve on its formula of gritty visuals and rough-and-ready handling. DiRT 2 offers the usual selection of Colin McRae racing events, including multi-car and solo races that take place across locations from canyons trails to city landscapes.

The third generation of Codemasters EGO engine offers some of the most impressive physics yet seen in a rally game, as well as helping to boost the games visuals so that cars are now twice as detailed as those seen in Codemasters other racer GRID. Jumping online, players can start head-to-head races and join the rally community with a series of social events.

Colin McRae - DiRT 2 overhauls the solid foundations of the DiRT series with crisp visuals, responsive handling and physics that make races as unpredictable as the real thing.

^ what he said.

Just glad I got the codies racing pack offer, which was an absolute steal at £12.50!

But this is a good price if you missed out, or prefer boxed copies :)

For those interested, Game are selling GRID for £6.99.

Obviously, not as cheap as the Steam weekend deal but some (like me) prefer physical copies.

Good price heat added.
I also got it on steam last weekend but haven't had time to play it on my 42" Panasonic plasma. I'm really looking forward to it now. I didn't know it was DX11, I don't think my 9600GT has that though:roll:
