Picked this up in the PC World store in Beckton, East London this afternoon - there were 3 more copies on the shelf - might be worth checking you local branch!

Cheapest I can find online is £14.89 at SendIt - http://www.sendit.com/sendit/8616179.product

This item is also included in the Buy One Get One Free offer

I know this is a limited offfer and availability will vary from branch to branch, but hopefully this might help someone else pick this game up at such a fantastic price!

Other items in the sale included:

Beautiful Katamari - £4.97
Virtua Fighter 5 - £4.97
Juiced 2 - £4.97
Conflict Denied Ops £9.97
Mass Effect £9.97
Need for Speed Prostreet £9.97
Ghost Recon 2 £9.97
Ninja Gaiden 2 - £9.97
Dead Space £19.99
Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe £24.99

All of the above are included in the BOGOF offer - there were quite a few more, but I can't remember them all, but the shelves were well stocked with all of the above

Were they labelled up at the sale prices?
#2
Yep - all of the above were labelled with the big red 'Massive Sale' stickers and there is a big sign above the gaming section about the BOGOF offer

I knew this would get a chilly reception due to the limited nature of the deal, but hell, I got a massive bargain and thought i'd share so hopefully someone else can benefit!
#3
Any chance you got a spare Dirt then lol. In my local PCWorld whenever these sale things come on people buy every single copy of the sale games in 1 go.
#4
Sadly not - I was only passing that branch on my way somewhere today, but I am passign another branch tomorrow evening so can keep my eyes open for another copy if you want?
#5
VF and Katamari for £4.97 would be a steal.
#6
Your alright thanks mate I'll check out my local. You never know I might beat the ebayers.
#7
oh good, another dsg "deal" where there's little or no chance of actually getting the item.

cold.
#8
Might have to check out my local!

Maybe someone should just make a permanent deal: 'PC World if you are really lucky'

Don't you meen "really really really lucky"

No PC world near me ever has anything at all. I'd love it if someone would send us a copy of beautiful katamari. I'd pay £10 inc p&p.

Reading my offer it doesn't really sound like it'd be worth anyone's while but maybe there's a good samaritan doing the rounds somewhere.
#18
Cracking game if you can find it.
Nothing left in either of the 2 hull stores
#19
If they had 3 others on the shelf, why didn't you get a 2nd free copy??

Good deal tho, alas my PC World has been wiped out of anything decent in their sale.
#20
great find but sadly all of DSG websites are down as cant check stock!
#21
i went to beckton store as it is round the corner from me, picked up dirt for 2.97, they have two-three copies of virtual fighter 5 for 4.97, and copies of time shift and some other stuff. worth a visit if you live near the beckton store.

ta to the op.

Unbelievable...... IMHO people are getting the games so its a bit mardy to vote just because YOUR store has none in, this site is getting stupid  IF YOU CANT GET IT BUT OTHERS ARE, JUST DONT VOTE!!!

From now on I'm voting every deal cold unless the OP buys it, gift wraps it and hand delivers free of charge!!! :whistling:

As far as I know only games that are priced at £xx.97 are in the BOGOF offer but it's worth asking them to check the price at the counter, for any games you're interested in, as when I went to my local PCW (Burnley) they hadn't reduced the prices on most of the stuff on the shelf or stuck the red sale stickers on them and I had to get them to manually check all the prices. I ended up getting Dead Space, on the XBox 360, for £24.97 and a free copy of Rainbow Six Vegas 2, even though they were both marked up as full price, after a bit of fannying around.
#25
i just popped in on my break from college. Non of the games you listed were in stock. and no BOGOF posters either (Burnley store)
The only half decent thing i could find was Soul Calbur 4 for £19.99 but i can probably buy it cheaper than that at work.

Bad day at work Im guessing, lighten up! Youll probably have a heart attack if you see its expired now...

The reasoning behind voting cold on availability is a completely logical one, is this is only available in a handful of stores it isnt a great deal as its not something a lot of people can take advantage of.
#27
Im not stressed, just sick of people voting cold for no reason other than THEY cant get it, its plain stupid!!!!

then people who cant get it shouldnt vote either way imo,

in saying that, people will vote hot with deals that are very rare or even non existent (eg the fallout "deal" in morrisons), so guess they sometimes even out.

anyway, non in newport store but there was a bogof deal in there....not voting either way!

You do realise what the purpose of this site is dont you? To help people get good deals, to inform others if you have found what you think to be a bargain. If no one else can get it, its not a hot deal.

Ah ok, so nobody should vote on any deal until theyve taken a day trip to the shops. I see...

Soul Calibur 4 is in the BOGOF deal, as I said, you need to ask them to check at the counter as most of the stuff in the Burnley store isn't marked up at the correct price or as being in the BOGOF offer.
