Hot deal. Yes, it is safe. That is all.
Went to see the new Suzuki Celerio yesterday. Couldn't take it for a test drive because of the much publicised braking issue but I have to say I was hugely impressed! I rather like small, efficient, value-for-money cars and over the last few years have driven a Daihatsu Sirion, the wife's Toyota Aygo and most recently a Kia Picanto. I'm sure that those clever folks at Suzuki will fix the brake problem in short order. I recall all the fuss the press made when the original Smart car failed that stupid Elk test.. it all got sorted very quickly. Really looking forward to checking out the Celerio when the new Dualjet engine comes out later this year. It's nice to see a car company taking the technology forward and giving buyers (as opposed to the motoring press) what they most want.
I bought one in December for £100 more brand new, so not that good a deal. They were being sold VAT free at all Suzuki dealers as they are being fazed out. Good little run-around if you want a cheap, no frills, no power small hatchback. Would't buy one again. Will probably trade it in after a year
