Ordered last week.

Terrible service.

1) Sold out of an item - but as it was put down as FREE cos of 3 for 2 deal they didn't even bothering to refund me or let me choose another item. Had to phone and complain.

2) When parcel arrived one of the items - bag - I ordered was printed on upside down.

3) Didn't even send me an invoice or delivery / returns note. (Needed to return the bag to store).

4) To top it all of my points - £30.00 of them didn't even get added to my card for me to collect instore so have had to chase around with emails / calls to try and get them to add them. They have today decided to add them but still have to go instore to acctivate them!

Doubt whether I'll be placing another order for aloooonnng time with this company.

Their service is bad!

BabyBlue,

I have shopped with Boots for about 10 years now and they have honestly been amazing to me, customer service like gold.

The item out of stock would have been all done by computer automatically. The upside down print wouldn't have been noticed by some bloke in the warehouse and the returns note.. well.. obviously they have some kind of warehouse staff problem right now. Please don't let the warehouse staff put you off.

Honestly, the customer service have always been so good to me and if you call to explain how you feel about this you should manage to receive some compensation points. The points on the card, I know it's a pain but it's just how they work because the card has a chip or something. I don't get it but I do sympathise for the staff who have no choice but to do things this way.

Honestly, if you feel so bad.. call them and tell them. It is worth it.

Just to reiterate pinkladymel's comments, Boots Customer Service as I have found on several occasions, is second to none, I also have had quite a lot of points added to my Boots card when they have made an error.
Really is worth ringing again and explaining all of the problems you have experienced.
Good luck! heat added.

never had a problem with boots delivery always spot on

So, how much is 1200 points worth in real money?
#6
1200 points is £12.00

However, as per their late nights last week, you have to spend £50.00 to get the 1200 points. If you spend £49.99 you don't get them, though I presume you still get the 4% which would be 49*4=196 or £1.96. Quite a difference and you wouldn't want to spend much over the £50 increments would you ?

gutted i spent over £100 online last week with fab service too!!!!

I'll give them a call in the morning, see what they say :)

Do you think you can get this on anything? I was thinking of getting a DS as a Christmas present and I thinks Boots sells them instore.

I can't see them online though.

I placed my order last week and as always arrived a day earlier an no problems. I have now learnt that the delivery is usually one day early and that can be really helpful. I looked out for this offer again yesterday as spent another £100 and thought it can't be long. Typical that it is next week. Mind I did use the code from here for 1000 points on a £100 spend.
Points I have noticed are now not appearing until the full 5 days are up. I think this is because before you could get your points the day the order arrived, spend them and then return your order. I know several people who did that so this might be the reason they are taking slightly longer than usual to appear. Also CS is always very good when you call and this is the first year the Events nights have been online as well as in store so Im sure a few teething problems will soon be ironed out.

I had an error with points, they gave them to me twice :w00t:

they did this in the hull local stores last week. Its per £50 so we spent £150 in there and got £36 worth of points in one transaction :)
#13
If you went to their last shopping evening on 29th October and spent over £50 you should have also been given another voucher to use on the 12th that entitles you to an extra £5 worth of points ON TOP of the £12 you'll get automatically.

Don't forget to use it!
