Colliers Powerful Welsh Cheddar has been named 'Best Extra Mature Cheese Manufacture in the UK' at the International Cheese Awards at Nantwich.
The award comes as Fayrefield Foods - which produces Colliers - unveiled its flagship cheeses brand new look at the world's largest cheese show where competition was fierce with 2,761 competitors from 24 countries pitted against each other in 160 competition classes.
"We are thrilled that Colliers Powerful Welsh Cheddar has been recognised as the Best Extra Mature Cheddar in the UK," says Chris Swire, Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar Marketing Director.
"But we are not surprised that the judges were so impressed - Collier's distinctive flavour has won a legion of fans and this latest award is richly deserved."
