Great deal

I have this and the book is quite often heavily discounted. The book is not too bad but the Readers digest book is better and well worth the extra money

absolutely great book.

I don't think any one diy book is best for all diy. I have both the Readers Digest and Collins books and find both equally useful. However these books do have their limitations because they cover soo many topics. More specific diy books are often more useful than the 'covers everything' type book. Basically the more ambitious the project the more likely you'll need a more specific book.

Great book, my girl friend bought me this for xmas and I've already hung wallpaper and changed a radiator.

It has been priced at £6 there for a good while now, I bought one for a present at christmas.

Not a bad buy for the money, had a sneak through it obviously ;)

I must say I was looking for this last time it was posted but couldn't find it in my local WHSmiths. Good deal.

I've got this book and found it to be a good overview of many topics, not the most detailed but given the number of subjects covered it's a good effort. Seen it discounted on many ocassions, but not this cheap before.

Got this book and its a bargain @ this price.Hot

This is the bible for DIY'ers. at £6 it will pay for it self i no time. and while you are there why not pick up a first aid manual as well and place bookmarks in the folowing sections to save looking: electrical shock, severe burns, severe blood loss, and coping with a loss of a limb. ;-)

hi
can someone please explain to me what colour the book they bought was.
was it exactly the same as in the original posters post?
i went into a couple of whsmiths and they all had this book for £6,
but it had a red cover and said 'easier, safer, greener' at the bottom.
ive researched online and i really cannot tell the difference between the
book in the op's post, the red version i bought and the exact same book i bought but with a yellow cover.
i asked a couple of staff in two whsmiths which was which and they couldnt work it out at all, using their computers, using i.s.b.n numbers etc. they were stumped,so which is which?
thanks folk
