Applies to first year only.

You cannot get rid of the 5 page piece so you don't save any money :-( every time I enter code it adds the 5 page piece and when I delete the 5 page piece the price rises again
#3
Sounds good, ill look into it later. Thanks op

I've managed to do it... maybe try a different browser?

Thanks for the deal.

My domain has two months left before expiring so I used this to transfer the remainder to them and get another year for the grand sum of 72 pence.

Marvellous and have some heat :-)

Just noticed that it was still on my account despite not selecting it, however you can cancel it with immediate effect or on the renewal by going in to your account and looking in the renewals menu. I chose the former.

Hmmm Tried Firefox and IE

So I get to checlout, I add promo code and it auto adds the 5 page website. As soon as I click delete below the 5 page website it put the domain name back to original price

What am I doing wrong?

Not sure what that's about. You can remove it after the checkout though, as simplyjimbo says above.
#9
But it charges me for it before I checkout :-(

Do you use code PRESIDENT at the checkout screen, in the right hand side 'Enter PROMO or Source Code' ?
#10
that's right. can you put it through with the freebie attached and the price at 72p?
#11
the 5 page website isn't a freebie. Its trying to charge me. thats m,y point :-)

The domain name drops in price BUT it adds the 5 pager which put the total price back up :-( have tried in $ and £ same :-(
#12
I'm having the same problem as ukpbz.

When I remove the 5 page thing it puts the domain back to its normal price, If I leave it in the basket it tries to charge me for it.
#13
I don't have a clue then, sorry. Just been through it again and it let me delete it fine...

I cant get it to work either, i have the exact same problem.. Code adds the 5 page website, and as soon as i delete it, the price shoots right back up again.
If you can actually go into your account and delete this 5 page site thing, surely you will have already paid the 2 months of it upfront anyway?
#16
Does it let you add the code again after you've deleted the website?
#17
I think i found the problem see link

Ahh... new users and transfers only? Do you already have a domain with them?
#19
I do and people having the same problem probably do, I might as well try and set up a new account got nothing to lose. :)

I just tried it through once more and it discounted it automatically without the promo code... there's also a banner on the site now with the offer saying discount applied at checkout, nothing about the code. Have another shot, maybe try a different email address?
#21
Works when creating a new account.

If the code doesn't work I suggest creating a new account with a different email address.

Thank you mikefellows ;)

Remember if you know what domain you want choose and pay for it, otherwise it will be snapped up by an unknown almost immediately. This seems to be a problem on GD

Sorry, i'm a bit dim. So once you buy a domain name, what do you do next? Do you need to find somebody to host it?
