I used all of these on the bottles I bought so they cost me NOTHING.
But some checkout operators may be difficult about it - but worth trying. Morrisons still get £1 for reedeming the voucher.

Not sure when promotion ends so assuming it is the end of the month.

People are commenting that the voucher is for Persil not Comfort. So be warned

What happened was, we were in Morrisons in Hastings (had gone away for weekend).

Saw the deal on Saturday before we went out, bought one at the checkout and the girl checked it all and scanned it thru - cost = 0

Came back in on Sunday before we went home, I went to one till and OH went to other till (he joined mine but I told him to go somewhere else) and my till operator checked it with a fine toothcomb and said I couldn't use it as the voucher said "cannot be used with any other offer" well exactly what does that mean? Their offer or someone elses?

Anyway, told the woman I didn't want them - didn't see what the problem was as Morrisons were still getting the £1 back anyway. (Jobsworth told me to keep the vouchers that I had pulled off (!!) then OH came along with 5 that he successfully managed to get with no hassle. Ok a little greedy maybe but my Morrisons is a long way away.. don't know what other supermarkets do this but the vouchers last until the end of JULY.

Im not sure who was right, yes the voucher works and so you get it free so it must be fine, but the are already on offer, being they are reduced to £1, so your getting two offers.

But like you said morrisons still make their money so it shouldnt be a problem.

However I do know that morrisons sell some stuff at a loss.. e.g. reduce some items dirt cheap.. such as the buy 1 get 2 free offers around xmas.. and then sell some stuff at higher prices.. so customers come in to get the offers.. and in theory also buy food not on offer and thus making morrisons money..

This works great because when a great offer is on, it spreads by word of mouth etc!

So basiclly you taking advantage of this offer by just buying loads of these, caused a fuss because its not what morrisons want from offers, they want you to buy them of course but buy them with your weekly shop.. if that makes any sense..

I suspect you've never worked on a checkout? I can't say I ever considered the reason for offers in such detail while attempting to drown out the monotonous beeps. It's more likely that they were bored and annoying customers is something to do.

Do you know how pathetic you sound "bored, so annoying customers is something to do"

On checkouts you do 4 Hr shifts? try being on any other department and be there 9 hours... with customers constantly asking you where stuff is, whilst trying to manouver around customers who stop and talk, whilst trying to put stock out with your managers moaning.. You don't get bored but annoyed!

The money off vouchers on the bottles are for Persil Naturals and not Comfort Naturals, I was stopped today at the till. I genuinely hadn't noticed but they pointed it out and they do look different, Comfort Naturals is made by Persil though.
The cheapest special offer I can see for Persil Naturals for 26 washes is at Sainsburys for £4. Not sure if they have a fabric softener in the range.

Yep, your absolutely right. I have just come back from Morrisons and looked at the vouchers on the product. They are for Persil Natural products and not Comfort ones.

Sounds like you were served by an unobservant cashier. ;-)

Yep I had the same problem . The checkout operator from hell refused to take them for Comfort ,she was adamant that it had to be Persil .She was quite amazed when I said i didnt want the 2 i'd put in my basket !!lol
you win some you lose some to little madams!!

Eh?? Asked where your local Morrisons was so I don't waste a trip if it is my local too[/COLOR]

I had the same problem as princesskerry - the money off vouchers were for Persil Naturals not Comfort so the checkout wouldn't redeem them. I had taken 5 bottles at a pound each and paid for them - I wouldn't have bought them if I had checked the voucher more carefully - so be warned!!!

lol, probably didn't read your question properly! i understood what you said!

My misses went today and Morrisons Tamworth said that you can only have 1 offer at a time as per the coupon, so £1 per bottle. They did say the coupon could be used in the future though (sort of defeats the 'instant redeem' though!).

Bought 2 fine for the price of £0.00. Quality! at the Weston Super Mare Branch

just tried to pick some up but was told it you couldn't use the voucher with any other offer.

Just come back from the Caterham branch picked up one bottle and took the lable off went to check out where the check out girl and supervisor quiried it said I had to buy one and then use the voucher on next purchase I said I had brought the first bottle the day before. after 5 minutes and a large queue behind me they let me have it free.

I bought a couple of these last week. They had some Persil Naturals washing liquitabs reduced to £2 (half price I think) when I was instore but I'm not sure if the offer is still on.

I got 4 small bottles, I usually would buy 2 large ones, as they were only £1 and then noticed the vouchers. I handed them over at the checkout, the operator made sure I'd got 4 bottles and put them through - free softener!

Went back got £20's worth of stuff I didn't really want along with another dozen bottles. This time they wouldn't accept the vouchers at all. The girl on the checkout was particularly short about it and was far too patronising for my liking. So I took the 2 carrier bags out of my trolley, put them back on the checkout and told her she'd better get someone to put that lot back at the same time they they put the fabric softener back! Normally I'd have still had them as a pound a bottle is still cheap - however I am not being spoken to like that especially after my first shop was over £120 and I'd be back again on Saturday for the other £100 of shopping I'd need.

Still a good deal though - will just have to go to another branch from now on :whistling:

Got 10 from the Hastings Branch. 5 on the self scanning section and 5 from a normal checkout. Went back a bit later and they wouldnt accept them. But they let me keep the vouchers.

They are valid til July so im guessing i can use them at Tesco against something else?

I usually wouldn't have the cheek but I'm sick of missing out on deals thanks to certain types of restaurant owners buying up all the stock. Was in Asda when they had the tinned tomato deal on a few months ago. One trolley was loaded to the top with them. I know the checkout girl and asked her on my next visit if she could remember how may there were. He'd bought 240 tins - 60 four packs!
He came back later but they'd all gone and he asked if they could reserve a palet load for him :w00t:
