They do all work in Vista. I run Vista Ultimate 64bit and had to buy The First Decade because my original disks for C&C and Red Alert wouldn't install the games in Vista. It's not the games that are incompatible, it's the installation program. The First Decade has a new installer and thus works in Vista. You can quite easily play the original game from 1995 without any patching or mods.

You can actually download the FULL game of C&C Gold (actually included in the pack) for free, legitimately from here.

EA are offering it for free.

Red Alert is also somewhere to be found...

Megagames.com are hosting Red Alert at the moment. Doesn't make this any less of a great deal though - 6 games and 6 expansion packs on one disk

The other one appeared on the tome page first, hence the confusion. A lot of people don't go through all the separate sections ;-)

I bought this for about £8.99 a few months back, and can also back up earlier reports that they do all work on Vista

"You can actually download the FULL game of C&C Gold (actually included in the pack) for free, legitimately from here" not worth it if you play any of the later games as the graphics are so poor. As for the series, lost many hours on the PC trying to kick butt at ever increasing levels of difficulty, great game set and wonderful price...... only Civ4 comes close in terms of leaching hours of your time :-)

Somehow I don't think the graphics of the original C&C matter, the game is epic regardless and was released over a decade ago :p
