Won't be hugely surprising that this game is falling in price so quickly (Launched end of March 2010) due to poor sales. Still a stonking price for a 1 month old computer game!

=================

The story of Command & Conquer 4 takes place after the events of the critically acclaimed Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. The year is 2062 and humanity is at the brink of extinction. With only six years left until the mysterious crystalline structure Tiberium renders the earth entirely uninhabitable, the two opposing factions - Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod - inevitably find themselves in desperation for the same cause: to stop Tiberium from extinguishing mankind.

The unthinkable becomes reality and Nod's enigmatic leader Kane takes off for GDI headquarters. What is Kane planning in the heart of his enemies' base? Command & Conquer 4 draws the epic conclusion to the beloved Tiberium universe, where fans will learn the fate of Earth, Nod, Tiberium, GDI and most importantly, Kane's motivations behind his decade-long plan.

In addition to the two campaigns on the epic battles of GDI and Nod, which players will get to conquer alone or in a cooperative mode, Command & Conquer 4 will also feature a new 5v5 objective-based multiplayer mode, promoting teamwork and cooperation and delivering a social real-time-strategy experience never seen before in a Command & Conquer game.

Good price but i think that they should give up on this now not as good as they ust to be years ago RED ALERT the best. Also i would be ****** of it i bought this game on release and it came down this much.

good price

this is a seriously good offer. Obviously i wont be buying it as nothing compares to red alert 2, but for a fan of strategy games this is a must buy. You could easily complete it and sell it for around the amount you bought it for.

EVIL DRM
The digital rights management software included with the game, which requires the player to be online at all times and which will lead to a loss of progress if the connection is lost.

As a red alert nerd, I have been tempted to make this purchase, but this info, along with other poor reviews keeps the credit card fimly placed in the wallet. Westward - EA had a great concept, but seem to have gone the way all lemmings go.

Not good reviews, and it requires an always on broadband connection to play the single player game, just like Ubisoft.

I'm avoiding on principal of the DRM - even one of their own employees admitted that it was a mistake in his blog when he couldn;t play for hours on end due to the servers going down.

voted hot as its the cheapest around for someone who wants it but im avoiding

Exactly the reason I won't buy after I read this somewhere.
Absolutely no interest in playing a game online..

There is a crack-only release by RELOADED

Very easy to get around the stupid online DRM for singleplayer, and for multiplayer, it doesn't matter since you're playing online anyway.

I'm getting it, I had the issues with buying Dawn Of War 2 but since there was a crack-only release for that, that's what I did.

In fact, I crack almost every PC game I buy because it removes such stupid things like needing the disc in the drive to play.

This game is rubbish. I paid £29.99 on steam, Played it a couple of times and went back to C&C 3. Avoid
#13
Worth about £2.99 IMO. DRM infested ****

Not voted either way.
#14
crap game...ok it might be cheap but that doesn't make up for the gameplay.
#15
Got to get it, just to keep the series complete :(
#16
It's good fun on-line, but it's a half assed attempt at a c&c. Even by the admission of the developers.
#17
Same price at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Command-Conquer-Tiberian-Twilight-DVD/dp/B002CZQ4Z6 where it really gets slated too.

Think I'll avoid :-(

I love the C&C series (wish they'd make a Generals sequel or more add ons), but this looks even more awful than RA3.
Crazy to dump the tried and tested formula for a restricted unit formula, DRM is ridiculous and unforgivably they have dumped the most interesting part of C&C3 - The Scrin!

i like General and also Zero Hour!

Has there ever been a deal for the 3rd one ?
