Ah, thanks :) I remember looking this up the other week and seeing it out of stock, and balked at the idea of paying a couple quid more for it elsewhere. Now I shall make it mine :D

£6.99 @ Amazon if you prefer. At least its guaranteed to be brand new.

Great games, but be careful if you have a 64-bit operating system, many of the older 16-bit programs won't work and there are no fixes available

Yeah it's a shame, compatibility is a big issue on this pack. I'm disappointed that they didn't do anything to make it possible to play on a modern computer...

Even on 32bit I didn't manage to get CC1 and RA1 working properly. Red Alert was slow as anything, and from memory Command & Conquer was too fast? I tried some of the later ones and they got so slow as well.

I think the only game I got any use for was Renegade - very fun, althought it wasn't quite the experience of FPS Command & Conquer I was hoping for. Will have to see if it'll work on my 64bit system, as I have my saved games still.

was hoping to play to playit on windows 7 64 bit but maybe it won't work, can anyone confirm or if the newer c&c4 will work?
#7
I can confirm C&C4 works, but I wouldn't recoomend it. Hated it and much prefer C&C3 - tiberium wars, which does also work on windows 7 64 bit

Very good pack - get it! I have had it for five years, and no real problems to be found - besides some games just not running unless you do an obscure compatability thing to get them running.
