Probably the best strategy games I've ever played all in one box and at a rather decent price !! Can also use Quidco at GAME for 5% back !

"In 1995, the original Command & Conquer helped define the real-time strategy genre. The franchise then continued to innovate for the next 10 years with cutting-edge visuals, epic storylines, and complex missions. Celebrating the anniversary of this innovative franchise, Command & Conquer The First Decade features a dozen classic C&C games, plus an exclusive bonus DVD of commemorative videos including a rare interview with Louis Castle, co-founder of Westwood Studios and the creator of the Command & Conquer franchise. Whether seeing where it all began with the original Command & Conquer or engaging in modern-day warfare in Command & Conquer Generals, this is a unique opportunity to own a piece of history and experience the past, present, and future of Command & Conquer.

Features: * The ultimate collection features 12 Command & Conquer games on a single DVD. Bonus DVD with commemorative video features including exclusive interviews and tribute videos from our biggest fans! Ooh...great find! I really want to buy this just to have it as Command and Conquer is one of my favourite gaming series, but I've played the games to death so I probably wouldn't play through them all again.

Great price. I remember paying £30 each for all of these. Red alert had to be my favourite...

Hmm, I'd only get this for Generals & Zero Hour, not that they were that good, I already have the previous Anniversary pack with all but Renegade and afforementioned Generals & Zero Hour.
Thing is, the Generals & Zero Hour Double Pack I've never seen cheaper than £15, so for £4 more this makes sense.
Unless anyone has seen the Generals & Zero Hour Double Pack on the cheap (??)

Thanks for this post by the way.

Is it in store too, I have about £37 on my card that I need to spend?

I'm fairly sure this is the first time the games have been available to run in XP, the original C&C was DOS and RA was Win95 making it difficult to run in XP.

I've not seen the Zero Hour pack cheaper than a tenner, been looking for it recently to get some multiplayer games going.

I'm extremely tempted to buy it but I feel it would just sit there to be shown off and considering I have half of these games already...but...tempting still...

b) It was!
It was part of the Deal of the Week offers so it happened to be in-store too.

I totally forgot about the whole Windows XP thing, I've been running Win98SE for so long now I forgot that I upgraded to XP.
I wonder if the graphics in C&C look any better now that they've made it XP 'compatible', probaby not, but you can always hope, RA95 looked better in Win95 so perhaps they did.

Definitely looks better, the original C&C ran in a DOS window at a mere 320x240 whereas this new version uses the RA engine so you can benefit from the higher resolution which is useful for RTS games.

How do I add a pic to a deal I find so I know for future use
#19
Hover your mouse button over the image you want to use. Right click and choose Properties [if using IE] then highlight the image URL/location/address, or select image location [if using FireFox] then copy it.

On the Deal Submission form, paste or type that location into the Link to Image File field.
