Managed to pick this up for 99p a few weeks back in Gamestation Bournemouth. Already had it, but thought I'd get a spare copy.

Absolute Classic! Been looking for it and this price I think should do it for me.
Cheers!:)

I wonder if these games will work on Windows 7...(_;)

Did Yuri ever get his revenge?

Doesn't say this price on the site

Absolute bargain if true! :)

has been this price for a while, i picked a copy up the other week.

the older games do work on vista (using an unofficial 1.03 patch) but the videos are a bit funky, lots of wrong colours, etc, but the games load up and play fine.

That's because the deal is instore and not online.

Realized that after posting, then just wondered how long before someone pointed it out, and how droll they'd attempt to be in doing so !
#10
Great games, absolute bargain! Wish they'd bring out a further sequel or update to Generals!

Red alert 2 and YR expansion both work on W7. For most of those games it's a matter of messing around with the compatibility settings to get them working I would think.

For a few pounds more (£7.70) Amazon are selling the Command And Conquer Saga ,same games listed in this deal plus you get Tiberium Wars.then you just lack Kane's Wrath expansion or get this deal and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars - Kane Edition from Amazon for £5.75 then you have the lot :) less the poor Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight

You can also download a few of the games for free too:

dunno but I've played a couple of them under dosbox / wine on Linux - so the early ones at least should work under dosbox on any other platform (e.g. win7)

btw - dosbox is an open source emulator, not just 'the dos box'. freely available from http://www.dosbox.com/ and helpful for a lot of old games.

You have obviously never used a Mac to say that statement.

Best RTSs ever made, and soon as Red Alert 2 was released, the franchise ended. Generals up till now have ruined it.

Actually, i have used a mac. And if you're comparing it as a gaming machine, you need to do some research.

Actually i really enjoyed Generals, yes it was in a totally different direction for the series, but it was a good game imho.
Agree with all games after it though...

Found the following site solved all problems I had on Windows 7:

Forgot how time consuming each level is! Willing to sell to anyone if you can't get to store as not sure I have time to play this at mo!

Picked up a copy of this from the carlisle store today, fantastic deal. Only really wanted it for counterstrike and aftermath as I've never played counterstrike and I'd lost my copy of aftermath. Handy to have all of them in the one box now.
