Edit 2: Although, it appears you get Volvo: The Game gratis when you sign up for your account. I can only imagine it consists of racing your estate car around the track while trying to avoid making your chocolate Labrador throw up.

Don't get me wrong, this is quite simply the finest RTS game out there and everyone with even an passing interest in the genre should own it but the patching process is so long winded and annoying that it's not worth your sanity!
If it is Steam however, get it now! (or wait until the next Steam sale where it will invariably be a couple of quid!)

By having an account, you also get loyalty points which are great for getting DLC for free when you're the kind of person that hates paid little DLC compared to old school expansions.
Hint: you'll get bonus points for practically no effort by clicking a star rating for the games you just bought (including volvo iirc)

It won't be anywhere near as cheap as this was based upon historic pricing. ref: http://www.steamprices.com/uk/sub/1529/company-of-heroes-complete-pack
It also seems to be a reasonably recent version (2.5) supplied by GG. And the patching process appears to have improved at some point in the past because it's getting all the updates it needs concurrently rather than one after the other like the old days!
