Seems like a good deal £369 on Amazon. Missed the ebuyer deal at £310 on Toshiba but this has bigger hard drive. Needed for backing up all our photos so not after a gaming laptop. Happy to be proved wrong if better alternatives up to £350 max.

Even with a 1TB drive -you shouldn't pay this for a Laptop with Celeron Processor .
Thanks for warning...I know Celeron not a great word from when I used to be into pc's years ago but didnt realise this was still the case. Never bought a laptop before this is all new.

Cheap price, but CPU a little slow (google 'N2810 passmark'.....), I'm looking for something with a benchmark of 2000+

Will be laggy even just writing assigments (with photos and diagrams) in word.

My old laptop is 6 or more years old and not that far off the benchmark of this (my old laptop has a T2050 CPU)

I personally like Compaq, but keep looking and comparing specs / prices....I'm sure there are better deals to be had.

Cheers, ended up buying the one below, but it has risen from the 428 I paid and is now 505, and it has only just been dispatched.
