I have been following this PC for some time as the DRG (Currys, Dixons and PC World) have been refurbishing quite a few. I don't know what this means about the reliability, but the price had been £229.99 but stocks vary on a regular basis. Currys don't seem to have it, but Dixons and PC World do. Stock status seems to change quite a bit, but was in stock at 1040 on Sunday.
There are various offers on, such as using Quidco, as well as the £10 off if you spend over £250 before the end of May. As my first post, you'll have to be gentle with me.
PC World offer 4.5% discount and Dixons up to 5% discount depending on what item you get (so read the list)
so it would be £209.99 plus £3.99 standard delivery at Dixons but could you add items up to £250 to get the £10 off
It would have been an easier choice with Currys as I know they offer 5% and free delivery but they didn't have it in at the time of writing.
It has been a toss up between the Dell for under £300 or this for a while.
This PC has no monitor but does have a dual core, even if it is an old one, has 256 MB graphics card which can go up to 512 MB, and has Vista Premium. I know all the arguments about Vista. Some limitations I admit on the package but in store with a monitor you could pay £500 plus.
