I suspect it's because it's a DSG refurb, I know that there are a few people on here who've had bad experiences, so it may be that they're voting based on their own experiences.

Personally I think it's a pretty good spec for the money, and it does come with a 1 year warranty so should be worth a punt in my opinion. 2,5% Quidco (I think) aswell should bring it below £300.

I was in staples today and was looking at there laptops I found that the toshiba seem to have the best touch pad as all the others where shiny finish and my finger stuck to them yet the toshiba was a Matt finish and did not stick. does anyone know which manufacturers use the matt finish pad.

i got a compaq 560em with a amd processer from pcw/currys/dixons group for £216 after quidco.

great spec great price but the keyboard had 4 keys not working!!

to be fair it was fixed with a new keyboard and back to me in 6 days and its been great ever since and if it carries on it was an absolute bargain but you do take more of a chance with these refurbs.

you might have to use the warranty but i know a few people who have had no problems.
