This is from Ebuyer. Its ok but the CPU is pretty average. Best thing is that it has Office 2010 Starter (trimmed down Word and Excel with adverts).

Sorry should have said it was from Ebuyer, as I only really use my old laptop for surfing and the odd download (not into gaming) would you say that this is ok!

Perfectly competent, middle of the road general workhorse at a decent price - ok but but not very inspiring to be honest. Basic integrated graphics and no HDMI out connection (in order to play HD movies on a large lcd tv at hi res) but if that's not important to you, it will do all the basic stuff you want it to do. At this price point, every laptop will have compromises. For future proofing, I'd personally be looking for a core i3 cpu as the starting point - another £50 can get you a laptop in a different league. Some of the current Tesco 20% off deals posted this week look pretty good. Better deals than this do regularly crop up but it depends whether you have the motivation and are prepared to spend countless hours hunting them down. For many people (sadly, including myself) the chase is more fun than actually finding the quarry.
