Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
Or follow the link in my signature.
Kind regards

yeah these do, this is a better laptop deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/468793/toshiba-l300-202-laptop-309-99-deli/ a few posts do say this compaq c60 laptop case is better.

This is a fairly typical price for a single core Sempron based laptop - in fact you can get them cheaper, along with equivalent single core Celeron laptops, although it does have 2GB RAM instead of the usual 1GB. The idea that this would have cost £429 and is reduced by £130 is laughable because at that price it is vastly overpriced.

Why post it then ?.

Because every time i post people keep telling me they are poor deals

Don't listen to people who say dual core is always better than single core. That's like saying 14 megapixels are better than 10 megapixels in a digital camera. The truth is that some 14 megapixel cameras deliver worse photos than a good quality 6 megapixel camera.

It all depends on how well the components work together in a computer. I found the Compaq extremely suitable for general Office work, photo and video editing, playing dvds (on TV through HDMI) and web surfing. It's not a games machine but neither are any of the others in this price class.

I suggest you go and look and compare the laptops in shop. (I've been in Comet and during my 1 hour visit, at least 6 customers decided for the Compaq C60 over the Toshiba L300). I think most Toshiba purchases are done online where the buyer can't see, touch and compare the laptops.

PS if you are not tight on a budget, you may want to consider the next-up model Compaq CQ60-420SA for £379. You get 1gb extra ram, Vista Premium with free Windows 7 upgrade, which together is worth the extra cost.

I have done research but it seems some people dont do theirs before they vote cold. For example i posted a top of the range walkman mp3 player £60 cheaper than anyone else but it was still voted cold by people because they could find a non branded mp3 player for £25.
I also posted a very powerful Acer laptop £300 cheaper than anyone else but was once again voted cold because people could find laptops for less. (regardless of spec).
So instead of criticising if you are going to post on my deal could you at least make it constructive as the posts above you have been.

Well done. My daughter bought the same because she liked the keyboard, dedicated number pad and the mouse pad. Did you know, this laptop has also Lightscribe DVD writer (laser print your DVDs without an extra printer), a web cam and HDMI out? Play your DVDs from your laptop directly into your HD ready TV, no need for an extra DVD or Media player (you can watch your movie while you do other work at the same time). Can you do all this with the Toshiba L300? NO!

With a bit of tweaking, you can get it as fast as my Dell laptop with Intel dual core processor on Windows XP.

Make your backup DVDs first! Then delete all the rubbish.

Don't use Norton Internet Security or any of the other bloatware installed (e.g. Office 2007 trial.
